    Renee Guenette was born and grew up on a farm in Northern Alberta, Canada. She spent her early years in wonder, exploring the natural world around her. Renee later devoted much of her life to children, an aspect of herself, which she needed to remember and nurture. She made a career of teaching and spent over thirty years in the education field, teaching from grades one to eight. In her personal life, Renee had the joy of raising two wonderful boys with her loving husband Loren. Challenging her belief systems early on in life brought Renee on a personal quest seeking to know who she was, as well as her life purpose. For years, Renee read intensely in the metaphysical field, studied both Eastern and Western Religions and received two degrees of Reiki, a Japanese method of hands-on natural healing, transmitting universal life force energy. Renee slowly began to heal and discover her own truth, finding the magic of living like a child again. Renee earlier co-authored the book, Life in a nutshell, with her husband Loren. It presents a process by which people can take responsibility for spiritual evolution and growth outside of any structured religion. More recently, Renee studied energetic shamanism, a pathway for further growth and awareness.
