On June 17, 2009 My life was forever changed as I know it. 8 months later on February 12, 2010 I was diagnosed with Polymyositis. Polymyositis is a rare auto immune disease of which the immune system attacks the muscular system of the entire human body. Because of my illness I was forced to quit my job. There is no known cure, but there are treatments of which I can take to give me a better quality of life. During these 8 months I painstakingly recorded the events of my life that led to my diagnoses (of which I called "The Burly Man".) These events also led to me using my own self help book entitled, "The Principles and Philosophy of Wei Shen Do". All of which was done to better help my self and others like me. Having never been to a doctor for any reason I was suddenly told I had an incurable disease. I will continue to monitor my progress, now that I have been diagnosed. I hope to find an answer, so that others like me will not have to suffer.
