The user would not only see a virtual world, but would feel and sense it through interfaces between brain and machine. It would thus enhance and imrove the users physical skills or trick the user the device had improved his skills.
    The book also explores the stresses and abuses of cubicle life in modern offices, and why people would want to escape into virtual lives instead of confronting life issues.
