      Enstasy

      Standing Inside Oneself

      A term coined in 1969 by Mircea Eliade to contrast the Western view of bliss-

      Ecstasy... as "Standing Outside Oneself," with the Eastern view of bliss-

      Enstasy... as "Standing Inside Oneself".

      Enstasy (Gk., en-stasis, ‘standing into’). The experiences, or abolition of experience,

      arising as a consequence of those meditational, etc. techniques which withdraw the

      practitioner from the world, and even from awareness of the individual self.

      The converse of Ecstasy is Enstasy. (www.encyclopedia.com)

      Enstasy without form or seed. The realization of

      the Self, Parasiva, a state of oneness beyond

      all change or diversity; beyond time, form and space.

      Enstasy: A difficult term that embraces both ecstasy and profound

      attainment of wisdom, the state of enstasy is, in fact, that state of Nirvana

      when one recognizes The Void, the Absolute Reality that Everything is Nothing.

      Enstasy is also a word chosen as the English equivalent of Samadhi.

      Samadhi... The highest stage in meditation, in which a person experiences

      oneness with the Universe
