      INTRODUCTION

      In the beginning, there was the word, and it was good. And in the time that has followed, we have managed to take a concept that was pure and good and create something that doesn’t remotely resemble that which we were given. Most all of the religious traditions on the planet begin their texts with some version of those words, and depending on whether you are from the eastern or western paradigm, the word is either Aum (Om) or Amen.

      And also in the beginning, man lived in fear of Nature and the Natural Laws that he was in reaction to. As a response to this, some men created religion, to soothe the fears of many about the unknown. And other men went about deconstructing the Universe in order to gain a sense of empowerment through understanding.

      And depending on whether or not you view the universe as a mechanical object or you see it as a living entity, there has been consensus that it burst into being with one violent act of expansion, known to scientists as The Big Bang.

      Our scientists, with the need to create a mechanical view of the universe, with mighty telescopes, and huge radar arrays situated around the globe, have finally deduced that the universe operates on the Law of Polarity.

      This Universal Law states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite.

      And our mighty electron microscopes have deduced that the tiniest particle know to man, the electron, also has a positive and a negative charge.

      So not unlike the largest thing in existence, The Universe, and the smallest thing in the universe, the electron, everything operates based on the Law of Polarity.

      This leads us to another Universal Law, The Law of Correspondence.

      This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world – energy, Light, vibration, and motion – have their corresponding principles in the etheric or in the universe. As above, so below.

      Next we will work with the first and most important Universal Principle, The Principle of Energy.

      This principle says that the basic component of the Universe, energy, occurs in either materialized or un-materialized form. All that we see and feel is an expression of energy.

      When the Law of Polarity acts upon the Principle of Energy, we get Electricity and The Electrical Field. There are many manifestations of the principles of Electricity in nature. The largest kind is the Lightning in a storm, and the smallest visible displays are static electricity caused when rubbing your feet on the carpet. There are however, many more unseen and powerful electrical fields that we are not completely present to. A few examples are the electrical fields of Qi and Aura. These energy fields are constantly flowing through us, and around us.

      Indeed, when analyzed, our entire central nervous system, is one huge electrical array.

      That means that our bodies are acting as a conductor of this natural form of energy. Now one rule of electricity is, that as it flows through a conductor, there is energy loss due to Resistance. This resistance can take many forms, most of which can cause a considerable amount of energy loss in our day to day activities.

      Energy is also synonymous with love. When we resist the flow of energy, or love, we experience discomfort. When we align with the energy flowing around us, we feel joyful and at peace.

      Resistance exists in numerous forms, which we will discuss in detail in the chapters of this book, but the foremost and costliest form of resistance that exists in the physical world today is the act of resisting our greatness or Higher Self.
