About this ebook
When dating someone a person doesn't want to waste their time. In this book an insight to the journey of love relationships is made a bit more clear. God’s full intent is not to have you stuck with someone you don’t want to be with. He wants you with someone you belong with. There is almost nothing more despairing than seeing an individual so desperately in love with someone who has absolutely no interest in them. The journey should be enjoyable - Don’t waste your time.
Tre'vone McNeill
Tre'vone McNeill, born in Fayetteville, NC., founded Epitome Inc. Youth and Young Adult Mentoring organization, after being inspired through a situation he faced during a troubling time and situation in his employment with Cumberland County School Systems beginning at the age of 19. Facing the opposition of many young people going without guidance, appreciation, and an adult to help teach them the proper way to live, walk, and succeed in this generation. Moreover, Tre'vone was very active in his school, community, and church. These became the root of his inspiration to help lift up and launch Epitome Inc.In the words of Tre'vone, "In my life I’ve had many ups and downs, many rejections from people who are the closest to me in life, but everything that I have experienced just made me the man I am today". At the age of eleven Tre'vone lost his father at the hands of an unknown gunman. As his father slept on the couch of a family friend to rest, an unknown gunman came into the home and murdered him, leaving him and his friend to die; his friend survived. Although an experience such as this did affect Tre'vone's life, though it put a damper on a piece of his childhood, seeing friends with their fathers but knowing that his had been "snatched" from him with no evidential remorse, he one day stood tall and told himself "I am going to make it". From that day forward Tre'vone made himself as well as God several promises regarding his life and even unto this day he is still standing on those promises. Within those promises one that Tre'vone made was the promise to help other young boys and girls to become presentable and successful young men and women through him. Throughout the great desolations of his life, not only did his heart hurt for the season that it did, but it made him stronger for the remainder of life. The fiery trials that Tre'vone has faced has encouraged him to help empower, impact, and enhance the success and positivity in young people who feel they have lost the very thing that held them up. You can turn your pressure into positivity! Tre'vone says,"I am purposed and my purpose shall be fulfilled" , in saying this he wants every young child and young adult that feels they have lost all hope to know that they can turn around their situation. As a child, Tre'vone's mother stayed on him in regards to his schooling. She took his education very seriously and because of this, today Tre'vone is very serious about his college education today. As a current Social Work Major at Methodist University, Tre'vone often looks back at his past when he was told by educators, college recruiters, friends, and some family members that he wouldn't make to the very point he is in now. In looking back Tre'vone has learned to use his past pressures as a future reminder! Though at times he feels like giving up, He holds on and looks forward to the future that his education will help provide for him and his future. Because of his mother’s tenacity he's learned that even the education of other young people around Him is very important.Tre'vone often carries the motto with him that he heard as a child that says, “People don’t care about how much you know until they know about how much you care.” Tre'vone says, "With this in mind daily, the lifestyle that I live is very simple and in one word it can be described as caring. I strive daily to live holy, righteous, clean, and upright before God and his people, but to sum up my life from my natural view it would be caring. I have a heart for all mankind. Every person I come in contact with I want their life to be changed in some tremendous and in an unforgettable form. My strength, faith, and love in God will enable me to continue in this way and even help others who are different from me and may live different lifestyles." When reflecting on his Tre'vone says he is constantly reminded of where He's advance to in life. In terms of attitude, outlook, social progression, and even maturity he's become a greater individual and through this organization he is seeking to help other young people to succeed. In February of 2014 he married his high school "crush", Constance. Together they have one daughter in whom they cherish and love very much.

This book is dedicated to my beautiful wife Constance. I am privileged to walk this journey with you daily. The more I learn of you on this journey, the more I am amazed by God’s amazing love for me.
I also want to dedicate this book and express sincere gratitude to Shannon Green; a mentor, brother, and friend you’ve been for me. Your continuous advice, holding me accountable, and consistent example of publicly and privately loving your wife, has helped me to understand my role on this journey; both before and after we were married.
Preface
I want to give a well deserved greeting- and an important caution to any of you who may read this book wondering what this young man is telling young couples and interested singles about the journey to a successful relationship and marriage. Especially those who may possibly stand to believe I am too young or inexperienced.
Many that would read my life’s biography and observe my testimony of where I am now would venture to make statements appealing to me not being married long enough to write a book for young couples who are on the journey to Marriage, or as I like to call it and as it will be addressed in majority of your reading: Holy Covenant
. Because of my little time in the covenant of marriage I see a need for caution in how others may view this book and my advice to young and other engaged or dating couples.
You see- I was engaged 9 months prior to our wedding date; 9 months exactly. Within those nine months of dating, courting, flirting, and preparing I was doing something the entire time that I had never even realized; I was learning. I was on a journey and every degree of it had to be enjoyed or else my entire engagement
