Today Calls Tomorrow - Prakash Hegade

    Preface

I don’t want to say it’s yet another unique love story. I don’t even want to say it’s different. But it’s definitely a love story!

Just like the ways I have loved writing every sentence of it, I only aspire you love reading each line of it. Like every other I had numerous inspirations. I show gratitude to them all and well, to myself too. After all, life is what we all witness and experience every day. Let’s get this started.

    This day becomes today,

    Every other a yesterday,

    Calling with love, a tomorrow!

Every today calls a better tomorrow. If we were happy today, we go with hopes for a happier tomorrow. If we were sad, we have a tomorrow where we stand stronger than today. Between today and tomorrow, tailored is this simple love story. Or in short, pretty much to say, I just needed a title.

There is nothing like once upon a time or long ago there lived etc stuff. It’s just happening around somewhere, possibly.

    Zero: The Launch

Aakash, got placed in his pre-final year after a lot of struggle. You know, not everyone gets to enjoy the joy in getting placed late. It’s a whole bunch and bundle of experience. For now, let’s just say, the process of experiencing many interviews had made him stronger and confident than many of his classmates. He had his favorite selfie which he had taken after he got placed with all the friends who supported. See, that’s what makes engineering life unbelievable. Binding’s get created unknowingly and they make the life beautiful.

A moment ago he graduated from engineering and he had all this weird thoughts in his head. Yeah, weird ones. He was going to miss his special friend whom he never dared to express how special she was and now world outside looked like there could be more opportunities. As the caps went high, he thought he should let go the feelings for Anwesha and he did! That’s the confidence am speaking about. Aakash was matured enough to handle his life, as the reality demands. Though he could hear an extra heart beat when Anwesha was around, life ahead of him looked more exciting.

Send-off party, good food, memory videos, thousands of snaps, guidance to juniors, miss-you miss-you cries, few thoughts on Facebook and that’s how the last few days ended. Well, then ahead was an open invitation to step into a whole different world. Aakash had 2 months of time before he had his joining.

You can easily take a guess on what he did in two months! He went to gym, car driving, met friends, few parties, some hangouts and days passed like hours and hours like seconds. There was no time for second thoughts and the date of joining was few hours away. With the wishes and blessings from family and friends, Aakash was in Pune to earn his daily bread and jam.

    One: Welcome Dreams

This is a sneak and peek into Aakash’s daily diary and a few excerpts. There you see a good habit of Aakash, writing daily diary. He was a good poet as well. On the way to Pune, the pen moved across the paper putting forward few mind capturing lines.

Am stepping out of my nest,

My new life I am ready to adjust!

    I dream to aim high,

    My efforts to touch sky!

    The one opportunity to thrive,

    I know it’s a strive!

    For life brings changes,

    I see it in ranges!

Am ready to move, move and move!

Life gives us words, we make out the lyrics.

What matters is the meaning and how well it rhymes!

Am ready to move, move and move!

There is always a mixture of emotions when you go for something new. They are two sided and both the sides get a chill deep down. The two extreme pulls which somehow balance each other and I still don’t know if the balance is zero. One side of resistance from the environment where we have grown up and accepted it as a perfect dwelling place and other side of capacitance pulling to be part of new growing place with more responsibilities and independence.

There will always be a phase of time where yesterday looks stupid and tomorrow sights the brightness in mind. We get to see this phase every moment. Laugh at ourselves for what we were yesterday and promise ourselves that I will be better tomorrow.

    Two: The Magic of Pune

Pune, Maharashtra, India! We should know how Google Maps looks at Pune and what Wikipedia has to say about!

Pune is the seventh largest metropolis in India and the second largest in the state of Maharashtra. It was known as Punyanagari in old time. It is situated 560 metres (1,837 feet) above sea level on the Deccan plateau at the right bank of the Mutha river. Pune city is the administrative headquarters of Pune district and was once the center of power of the Maratha Empire. Pune existed as a town since 847 AD.

In the 18th century, Pune became the political centre of Indian subcontinent,
