Sanctions, Sex Jihad and Syria: The A to Z of NATO's War on Syria's Widows and Orphans
By Declan Hayes
()
About this ebook
This book, the eight and final one in its series, gives an A-Z summary of the Syrian crisis. I hope it will lead to bigger and better efforts in the future that will help give the Syrian people and those of other Arab countries currently under NATO's cosh the peace and prosperity they richly deserve and for which they have paid such a high price not only in pecuniary terms (a cost of $3 trillion so far and rising for Syria) but in terms of human tragedy, human loss and human suffering we cannot even begin to fathom. This compendium is an effort not so much to formulate a solution but to help posit what the actual factors driving the mayhem is. Unless I can persuade some more appropriate people or institutions run with this project, I expect to expand on this volume again and again over time.
Although other reasons have been posited, Syria has been plunged into its ongoing nightmare primarily so that the goals of NATO, Israel and the Gulf countries may be achieved. Those other reasons include a number of economic factors: a severe drought, which hurt small farmers and farm laborers a lot and Syrian economic reforms that did not meet NATO's expectations or goals. The mooted economic factors nay have been the dry tinder but they were not the match and nor are they the smoking gun. Without the active, illegal machinations of NATO and its Israeli and Gulf States allies, Syria would not have been landed in the mess it has been landed in. Although the incredible sacrifices of the men and women of the Syrian Arab Army, together with the 7th cavalry intervention of the Russian air force, stopped NATO's plans of turning their Syrian homeland into another Libya or Iraq, NATO has not backed off but continues to press for conquest by other means and other paths, including federation and “inclusive” governments, which means putting their own puppets into positions of power.

Introduction & Overview
This book, the eight and final one in its series, gives an ever expanding A-Z summary of the Syrian crisis.
The mooted economic factors may have been the dry tinder but they were not the match and nor are they the smoking gun. Without the active, illegal machinations of NATO and its Israeli and Gulf States allies, Syria would not have been landed in the mess it has been landed in. Although the incredible sacrifices of the men and women of the Syrian Arab Army, together with the 7th cavalry intervention of the Russian air force, stopped NATO's plans of turning their Syrian homeland into another Libya or Iraq, NATO has not backed off but continues to press for conquest by other means and other paths, including federation and inclusive
governments, which means putting their own puppets into positions of power.
The time is not yet right for a definitive book on the Syrian genocide. The emphasis for now must be on pulling Syria out of the NATO induced mire. This compendium, which is also a basic taxonomy, can help in that process by identifying NATO's mischief makers and by thereby helping Syrians and other people of good will to contain and neutralize them. Thanks to Erdoğan and his waves of Muslim Brotherhood refugees, and NATO's proxies and their European bombs, the war has spread far beyond Syria's borders. For peace to be restored, NATO's dogs of war will have to be muzzled and NATO itself tethered. The Syrian war has shown that peace has many enemies and that these enemies are often in the unlikeliest of places. Until the supporters of wars of extermination in the Vatican, in the media, in the NGO sector and wherever else they have festered are brought to task, there will be no peace. Because the war hawks, their puppets and their parrots benefit from war, there will be no peace until they are brought to book. Hopefully, the entries here will get others to act and begin the process of caging NATO's war criminals. Though it won't be easy, it is very necessary.
Dedication
This book is dedicated to Syria's heroic widows and orphans and their protectors, the men and women of their national army.
A-Z
General Nayaf Al-‘Aaql
General Nayaf Al-‘Aaql is a retired Syrian Druze general who rose to national prominence when the elite 104th Airborne Brigade of Republican Guard he commanded(it is now commanded by Major General Issam Zahreddine, another legendary Druze warrior) fought off a powerful assault from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) at the Battle of East Beirut in the summer of 1982. During NATO's war against Syria, he has played no less crucial a role by coming out of retirement and organizing the Druze of al Sweda to resist NATO's Free Syrian Army (FSA), Jaysh Al-Yarmouk, and Al-Qaeda proxies and their local collaborators. Al-‘Aaql's intervention has been credited with stabilizing the Southern Front and frustrating NATO's attempts to drive a wedge between Syria's Druze and their compatriots.
Abdal and Dom
Abdal and Dom are Turkish gypsies, who are distantly related to the Alevi and who are prevalent near the Syrian borer.
AbouNaddara
This link discusses some of the many groups disseminating supposedly independent propaganda about Syria. AbouNaddara is one of these groups. Though there are many groups like these, because they do not carry the powers of persuasion and dissemination NATO's mainstream media do, they are marginal players except in so far as they are a part of NATO's media webs. More on AbouNaddara may be had on this link.
Abu Sayyaf
Abu Sayyaf is ISIS' franchise in the Southern Philippines. Though they operate mostly in the southwestern part of Mindanao, they have links with other franchises as well as wth ISIS head office.
Gilbert Achcar
Prof. Gilbert Achcar of the SOAS, is a left wing
proponent of NATO's humanitarian slaughter
in places like Syria and Libya and, most likely, his native Lebanon as well. Given how pathetically weak his academic output is, one can only surmise that advocating NATO commit mass slaughter is his full-time job and why this asset was given his cushy SOAS number in the first place. Academics like Achcar give NATO's bombing campaigns a left wing sheen as they are given forums to argue that mass murder of natives
is progressive.
Achcar’s day-time job is as a professor of something or other at London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) whose website informs us here that Gilbert's research interests and publication topics include: the political economy and sociology of globalisation, the global power structure and grand strategy, empire theory and the unfolding of US hegemony globally and in the ‘Broader Middle East’, politics and development economics of the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, the sociology of religion in general, of Islam and Islamic fundamentalism in particular, social change and social theory
. So a very wide or global big picture
but somewhat shallow area of expertise one could say. Though Eichmann in Cairo: The Eichmann Affair in Nasser's Egypt
seems an exception to the rule that Achcar is a boringly banal broad-brush bloke, such, alas is not the case. Achcar merely flippantly reviews coverage of the Eichmann trial in the Egyptian press; the infamous Nazi war criminal never made it to the Pyramids, or those in Egypt at least.
Having established that Gilbert is a shallow, broad brush bloke with little capacity for worthwhile, in-depth analysis, we next must discuss where, why and on what he ladles his sheen. Gilbert’s current pre-occupation is the misnamed Arab Spring and, as he hails from Lebanon, we would expect a degree of sophistication and an appreciation of the complex forces at work from a bloke who draws down a fat professorial salary at a prestigious university.
Such, alas, is not the case. Achcar imposes a simplistic good guys, bad guys pseudo-Marxist narrative on to the Arab world and argues that we have to make our choice and, Tinseltown style, ride with either the white hats or the black hats. Achcar's role, like that of Paul Conroy, who we later discuss, is to assure us that NATO and their proxies are the good guys, the progressives as he would call them, and NATO’s reactionary and counter-revolutionary
targets have to be terminated with extreme prejudice
.
Thus, this article explains, contrary to his own belated Blair-like protestations, Achcar was a key propaganda mouthpiece in convincing the radical left
to support the humanitarian bombing
of Libya. As Gilbert explained: in the absence of any alternative means of achieving the protection goal, no one can reasonably oppose it… You can’t in the name of anti-imperialist principles oppose an action that will prevent the massacre of civilians.
So saturation humanitarian bombing and the mass murder it causes are both all right in this madman’s view.
Achcar mislabels NATO’s Libyan proxies a mixture of human rights activists, democracy advocates, intellectuals, tribal elements, and Islamist forces—a very broad coalition … The bottom line is that there is no reason for any different attitude toward them than to any other of the mass uprisings in the region.
Achcar continually demanded that NATO deliver arms to the insurgency
in Libya and he even complained they had only
flown 11,107 devastating sorties against Libya as against 38,004 sorties in the 1999 war of terror against Serbia over Kosovo. Not enough humanitarian mass murder for Achcar, it seems.
The thin veneer of Marxist clichés aside, Achcar can only be seen as a propagandist for war and as someone who has no interest in stopping any NATO-led war in Syria, Libya, Iraq or anywhere else. It is, perhaps, for those reasons that this jingoistic site regards him here as a clear-sighted leftist
war-monger who no doubt knows what side his bread is buttered on. His simplistic pseudo-Marxist message that if we believe in the right of people to freely elect whoever they want, then even if we had an uprising where Islamic forces were leading, this shouldn’t change our position
is not only beneath contempt but should instantaneously disqualify him from having any input into any discussion or debate on how to bring peace to the Arab world.
This searing letter addresses the role of Achcar and similar academic parrots to the slaughter in the Arab lands in recent years.
Adobe Brick
Adobe is a building material made from earth and often organic material. Most adobe buildings are similar to cob and rammed earth buildings. Adobe is among the earliest building materials, and is used throughout the world most notably, in our case, in Ma'loula and environs. Because use of adobe is scalable, it could provide not only shelter but much needed employment to Syrians of all levels and capacities. The Iranians are accomplished users of Adobe.
Afghanistan
Much of Syria's problems can be traced back to the war of attrition the USA, Saudi Arabia and the CIA's Arab legion waged on Afghanistan from December 1979 onwards. Afghanistan began the process of Saudi Arabia funding CIA death squads throughout the Muslim world and it also accentuated the permanent refugee problem with one million Afghans being refugees in Iran alone. The same underhand methods NATO, the CIA and Saudi Arabia employed in Afghanistan are now being used against Syria and other countries NATO is determined to destroy.
AFRICOM
AFRICOM (United States Africa Command) was set up in Germany shortly after the Rwandan genocide, when the Americans had little or no direct presence in Africa. As its aim is to perpetuate controlled instability in Africa so that the USA and her allies can continue to control it, AFRICOM has been very instrumental in the rise of Boko Haram in Nigeria and the related fall of Gaddafi in Libya.
Aga Khan
Ismaeili pay homage to the Aga Khan. The Ismaeili are a generally peaceful Muslim group, found widely throughout Syria, where ISIS and other rebels groups massacre them, as well as other countries.
Agency Theory & Practice
Agency theory discusses the problems of agents acting properly for their principals and stakeholders. Groups like Amal, Buy Pens, Hand in Hand for Syria and some others discussed here show us how agents involved in Syria's charity and soft war sectors often work for themdselves, for other forces and not for their principals and stakeholders.
Agenda Setting
NATO sets our agenda and narrative and the blinkers through which we view them. Until that changes, little else will. In the case of Syria, we are to believe that the Syrians are the problem and the Turks, the Saudis and their mercenaries are the solution. That we view the fall of Syria through the NATO lenses of the Guardian and the state controlled BBC shows how uninformed we are. That France, Britain and the USA, which have so much recent and historical Arab blood on their hands are allowed dictate Syria's future shows how powerless we are.
Mother Agnes Mariam
Mother Agnes Mariam, Fadia Laham, is a Syrian Lebanese nun, who rose to some prominence after Russia's Foreign Minister cited her testimony concerning the Ghouta false flag chemical gas attack. The attacks on her and on Stop the War's invitation to her to address them by Michael Weiss, Own Jones, Richard Seymour, Peter Tatchell and many other agents, who are listed in this book, show just how entrenched and pervasive are the powers of NATO's intelligence agencies. Mainstream NATO articles attacking her and some less well known sites supporting her may be viewed here, here, here and here.
Ahmadiyya
The Ahmadiyya, derogatively known as Qadianis, are Muslims, who believe the Muslim Messiah returned to earth some time ago. Because of that, they are widely persecuted in their native Pakistan and wherever else extremists hold sway. One of their number was murdered in Scotland for wishing Scots a happy Easter 2016. More information on them and the campaigns against them may be seen here, here, here, here, here and here. This article ties the murders of Ahmadiyya practitioners into deeper Islamic fascist under currents.
Ahrar Al-Sham
Ahrar Al-Shaam is the largest Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group in Syria. Even though it works closely with al Nusra, the USA objects to Russia to targeting these terrorists who are guilty of numerous war crimes such as the May 2016 Zara, Tartous and Jablah massacres. It is funded by Qatar and supported by Sultan Erdoğan's intelligence services. NATO and the Gulf States supply it with MANPADS to shoot Russian and Syrian planes down. It fights alongside Nusra, Al Qaeda's Syrian franchise.
This article cites Irish resident Eyad Shaar as one of their top commanders and the main spokespeople of this terrorist group. This article describes how its leaders travel to the USA for military briefings.
These American supported moderate rebels committed a war crime in the village in Zara on May 12th 2016, when they slaughtered women and children and abducted hundreds of other women and children to use them as negotiating chips and sex slaves. American spokesperson refused to condemn Ahrar al Sham and the other American supported perpetrators of the massacre. Ahrar al-Sham, the al-Qaeda-allied perpetrators of this sectarian massacre, regularly write op-eds for the Telegraph & Washington Post.
Dr Saleyha Ahsan and the Organ Harvesters
Saleyha Ahsan is a former British Army officer who starred with Dr Rola Hallam in the state controlled BBC's Saving Syria's Children farce. She subsequently traveled to Libya where she got off on watching NATO's rebels lynch African prisoners. Despite her former dealings with Syrian and Libyan terrorists, she still produces TV programs for the state controlled British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
AIPAC
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee(AIPAC), Israel's major and most powerful lobby in the USA, is credited by friends and foes alike as having far too much political power on Capitol Hill. Together with other pressure groups such as the Anti Defamation League, and the terrorist Jewish Defense League, AIPAC is a major impediment to peace in Syria and beyond. Since the end of World War Two, Israel's American lobbyists have gone from celebrating atrocities such as the bombing of the King David Hotel and the sinking of the USS Liberty, from siding with African Americans in their fight for equality, to the present situation where they ally with America's powerful arms industry to lobby for war with all of Israel's neighbors, as well as Iran, Russia and all of the many other countries they do not like or that they envy. The unquestioned loyalty Hilary Clinton, Donald Trump and America's other leaders give to this oddball group is a major obstacle to getting peace in Syria and beyond.
Air Wars
Air Warsis a British based group that hires Chris Woods and other folk who spew anti Syrian, Russophobic, pro NATO propaganda on the Irish and other airwaves. In their propaganda, all sourced from the terrorist side of the lines, the Russian air force are the villains and the terrorists their air strikes kill are civilians. Other Air Wars contributors include the staff of Vice News, which ISIS have allowed operate in Raqqa.
AKP
The fascist AKP is Turkey's ruling party. As well as supporting ISIS and other terrorist groups, the AKP also supplies recruits from its ranks to ISIS.
Mahmoud al Akraa
Mousa al Kurdi, discussed later, is the father-in-law of Dr Mahmoud al Akraa, an apparently unhinged thug who disrupted a November 2013 Cricklewood, London meeting of little Syrian children, their guardians and their supporters. Al Akraa had been sent from Damascus University, from where he had been a leading enforcer for the ruling Ba’ath Party, to Britain on a fully-paid scholarship to train and qualify in urology. Although he was contracted to return to Damascus University to repay his training debt to them, al Akraa never returned. Instead, with the zeal of the convert, he became a Johnny Rebel, a job which, in his case, entails terrifying Syrian toddlers in Cricklewood, praising the imminent return of the Muslim Brotherhood terror gang to Syria and apparently even having snuff photos of Syrian soldiers he watched being decapitated loaded on to his cell phone. These charges against him were laid out in the appendices in one of a number of letters, downloadable here, I sent to the police about the Cricklewood terror attacks Akraa instigated and led.
As this link shows, Dr Mahmoud al Akraa also shares platforms with disgraced and discredited provocateur Danny Abdel Dayyem, who was caught faking supposedly live interviews from Syria from his London bedsit; more to the point perhaps, Dr al Akraa claims that the Syrian government forces will summarily and sadistically torture and then kill any Syrian seen to have been getting medical aid from non-approved sources which, if true, would have to call into the question Hand in Hand for Syria’s clearly suicidal policy, as enunciated by his (apparently) fellow trustee, Mr al-Dairi, of running token medical services in government-controlled Syria. Equally importantly, at 2:43 into this video, he expresses his delight that the Muslim Brotherhood is coming back
to Syria. Hand in Hand for Syria have yet to explain whether or not they also support the extremist scum of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, the Syrian National Council and the various rebel extremist groups they have been associated with. They have also yet to clearly state what, if any, disciplinary action they intend to take against Dr al Akraa as well as their nominal boss, the blood-thirsty Mr Sahloul, and if they will make the results of their deliberations known to the public. The British and Irish security forces, meanwhile, should be considering the most severe security measures to counter the potentially very serious threats people like al Akraa, who collaborate with child sex jihad recruiter al-Arefe and his ilk, might pose. This is all the more so when we consider that Doctors without Frontiers, which collects millions of dollars from Western Christians, admit to being in practice nothing more than an auxiliary medical corps to the Syrian rebels, who murder Christians as a matter of course.
Alawites
The Alawi are a religious and ethnic group found mainly along the Turkish, Syrian and Lebanese Mediterranean coast lands. Their belief systems share much in common with other Shia sects and, according to Gerard Russell, with the Druze. They have been subjected to repeated genocides since at least the time of Saladin and the Crusades. Because the colonial French recognized them, along with the Druze, as having military potential France could use to divide and conquer the Levant, the Alawites. followers of Ali, were able to protect themselves and a small but not insignificant minority of them advanced socially as a consequence. Alawite women and children, along with the Druze, have been a key target for NATO and the Gulf States in their efforts to use sectarian wedges to destroy Syria's plurality.
Syria, contrary to NATO propaganda, is NOT ruled by an Alawite elite. In accordance with common colonial practice, the French promoted Alawite and Druze officers in the military on the divide and conquer principle that the Dutch used to promote Catholic and Protestant military officers in Indonesia. Although Alawites may be disproportionately over-represented amongst the elite, this would not be more pronounced than similar distortions elsewhere. Sunnis are well-represented at the highest government levels and in the military, and inter-marriages are very common, the marriage of Syria’s President to a Sunni being one such high-profile example. The fanatical foot soldiers of the Muslim Brotherhood apart, Syria’s problems are not sectarian at heart. They are socio economic in nature and the sectarians’ war against Syria only accentuate those problems.
Syria's Alawites have paid a big price for America's perfidies. Their women and children were kidnapped in 2013 and their dead bodies used in the Ghouta false flag attack, entire Alawite families were baked alive in Adra baking ovens and countless numbers of them have been used as human shields by rebel terrorists the West idolized, with Zahran Alloush, the very worst of those terrorists getting glowing obituaries in the Western media when he was offed on Christmas Day 2015. Yet, like the murder of Christian priests and bishops, the rape, torture and murder of American super-hero Kayla Mueller and the wholesale rape of Yezidi children, none of this outrages the West, who remain focused on Alawite Assad, who became the world's master villain after sleeping in the Queen's Palace and breaking bread with Kerry.
The story of Alawite privilege and sect in Syria is not that different from elsewhere. Many Ismailis, for example, are dirt-poor, even though their leader, the Aga Khan, is one of the world's richest and most respected men. Many Alawites are likewise rich but the families of most of the Alawites the rebels murdered are, at best, as poor as ever, as even the briefest visit to Yafour just outside of Damascus would show. The higher strata of Syrian society is a Sunni-dominated dolly mixture of all sects though, given today's difficulties, all must practice caution as they gauge events. This applies particularly with the Druze, who have supplied many of Syria's top military leaders and who have been wooed and slaughtered in equal measure by those out to destroy the Syrian state.
The insane sectarian antipathy of those fueling the Syrian war apart, Assad's Alawite background has nothing to do with the war. The sectarians and their Western allies want Syria destroyed and recolonized with or without Assad, the bit-playing Alawites or anyone else. That Assad has repeatedly said he stands by the Syrian Arab Republic has not endeared him to the sociopathic, sectarian Gulf State autocrats who want that republic, along with several others, destroyed. That alone is his crime and the crime of the vast majority of the innocent Syrian people of all denominations and none who, protected by the Syrian Arab Army, stand behind him and with him.
In addition to the usual pro war spin of the extremistCouncil on Foreign Relations, this video has supposed Syrian expert Joshua Landis discussing the Muslim Brotherhood's extermination plans for the Alawites. Although this article dismisses a mischievously dishonest BBC/MI6 claim that Syria's Alawite leaders were disowning and distancing themselves from Syria's President, the reader should note that the point of the original set of choreographed articles was to dishonestly sow dissent amongst the Alawites so that they might more easily be massacred.
Albert Einstein Institution
The Albert Einstein Institution is a non-profit organization that specializes in the study of the methods of non-violent resistance in conflicts and to explore its policy potential and communicate these findings through print and other media, translations, conferences, consultations, and workshops. The institution's founder and senior scholar, Gene Sharp, is known for his writings on strategic nonviolent struggle. Though his From Dictatorship to Democracy monograph is credited with kick starting the CIA's color coded revolutions, it was more likely just one of many tools NATO used to push their various agendas.
Although the institute is named after the physicist Albert Einstein, it is not known if his estate gave their permission for the use of his name to this dubious group.
This link outlines the institute's relationships with RAND, the CIA linked National Endowment for Democracy (the NED which funded Nicaragua's Contras), the Ford Foundation, Soros' Open Society Instituteand NATO's other military and political elites. This link details many of Sharp's CIA affiliated anti communist connections. This linkand this linkdetail the anti Russian activities of it and its other academic collaborators. This link gives more details about the institute and this link and this link gives more dark information about this shady group.
This link supports Sharp by calling attention to his radical (by American standards) youth. This link says that the American Code Pink group, the linguist Noam Chomsky and other high profile establishment progressives have also defended the institute against criticisms from Iran, Venezuela and others of the institute's targets.
Madeleine Albright
Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who thinks Putin is evil, is an American politician, diplomat and sociopath. In this video interview, she says that murdering half a million Iraqi children was well worth the effort. On May 12, 1996, Albright defended UN sanctions against Iraq on a 60 Minutes segment in which Lesley Stahl asked her We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?
and Albright, showing she was a sociopath, replied we think the price is worth it.
This leads us to ask how many murdered Syrian children will satiate the American beast?
Aleppo
Aleppo, Syria's largest city as well as its industrial heart, has been touted by the state controlled BBC and similar outfits as the cradle of the revolution
. The truth in Aleppo, like the truth in so many other places, is Turkey ferried the rebels into Aleppo, where they stripped the industrial centers of all their machinery, where they bombed the government held areas at will and where they created hell on earth. The rebels survive in Aleppo because they use the civilians under the control as human shields. Most of Aleppo has remained in government hands to this day and those areas continue to be targeted by hell cannons, suicide bombs and the other ordnance all rebel factions use. On 24 April 2015, the 101st anniversary of the Armenian and Assyrian genocides, NATO's rebels fired over 1,200 missiles into the Assyrian and Armenian areas of Aleppo, killing over a dozen women and children, all to Western silence.
Bangladeshi Islamic Fascism
This article ties the recent spate of political and religious
murders in Bangladesh into deeper Islamic fascist under currents.
Battle of Aleppo
Wikipedia's Battle of Aleppo enry has been heavily redrafted by terrorist supporters. At the time of writing, at the start of May 2016, most of Aleppo and nearly all her citizens remain in government hands and the terroristds continue to indiscriminately mortar bomb civilian areas.
Aleppo is Burning
Aleppo is Burning was a very successful meme the Soris funded Purpose group disseminated in April 2016 to deflect from the crimes of the Syrian rebels in Aleppo. More information on the primary culprits behind this mis information campaign may be had at this link and links leading from it.
Rami Jarrah, who works for and who co founded the SOROS funded ANA Press, was heavily involved in this scam. which he also. Jarrah is based in Southern Turkey, we he coordinates media campaigns for the Soros funded Purpose group against the Syrian people. These media campaigns have included the Aleppo is Burning meme which blames the rebel atrocities in Aleppo on their victims. He was involved with the Aleppo is Burning scam meme, amongst other NATO scams.
Alevi
The Alevi , also called as Qizilbash, Spiritual Shiism or Shī‘ah Imāmī-Tasawwufī Ṭarīqah) is a mystical branch of Islam whose adherents are followers of Ali, the Twelve Imams (other than Sunni Muslims who respect the four Rashidun caliphs) and their descendant, the 13th century Alevi saint Haji Bektash Veli. Having some links with Twelver Shia Islam (like the importance of the Ahl al-Bayt, the day of Ashura, the Mourning of Muharram, commemorating Karbala, etc.), the practices of the Alevis are based on Sufi elements of the Bektashi tariqa. Though Alevism is seen as one of the two main branches of Islam in Turkey, the other being Sunni Islam, Sultan Erdoğan keeps them in a perpetual state of terror. Alevis are sometimes mistakenly equated with Syria’s Alawis, another Shia offshoot and the sect to which Bashar al-Assad and his family belong.
Algeria
Algeria was the only Arab League state that refused NATO's calls to withdraw recognition from the Syrian government. This can, at least in part, be attributed to the awful war without mercy the Muslim Brotherhood waged, almost successfully, on Algeria. Countries like Algeria and Tunisia continue to battle the same ISIS and Muslim Brotherhood dark forces Syria does and, at the time of writing in mid March 2016, reports were coming in of Algeria’s defense forces killing yet more ISIS and Muslim Brotherhood gunmen. NATO's agenda remains the same from Algeria, Libyaand Tunisia in the West to Iraq, Yemenand Syria in the East: destroy pluralism and instill sectarianism so that the forces behind the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS can divide and conquer and NATO affiliated oil companies may scoop the resulting harvest.
Racan Alhoch
Racan Alhoch is a Syrian rebel propagandist accused of pilfering charity funds given to the Amal project, which he wrote about in this article by the Rupert Murdoch funded Vice media.
Al Jazeera Arabic
Al Jazeera Arabic is part of the Qatari controlled Al Jazeera network. It is less moderate or, if you prefer, more honest than its English sister station and regularly and explicitly calls for the extermination of Syria’s Alawites. The Halawas and other Irish-based spokespeople for the Muslim Brotherhood terror gang have featured prominently on this notorious Muslim Brotherhood station. Al Jazeera Arabic and its Qatari sponsors are very major contributors to the violence sweeping the Arab world and scores of their journalists resigned in protest over this.
Iraq is the latest country to ban this Qatari Intelligence group.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Ayaan Hirsi Aliis a Dutch-American activist, author, and former politician of Somali origin. She is a leading opponent of female genital mutilation, and calls for a reformation of Islam. She is supportive of women's rights and is an atheist. Her latest book was released in 2015 and is called: Heretic: Why Islam Needs a Reformation Now. A lot of people want her dead.
Zahran Alloush
Zahran Alloush, the leader of the Islamic Front, a Saudi funded alliance of supposedly 45,000 throat-cutting, child-raping jihadist fanatics, was killed in a Syrian air force strike on Christmas Day 2015. Alloush is included here as he typifies all of the NATO backed rebel leaders, who are all peas in the same CIA controlled ISIS putrid pod.
Hassan Hassan, who works closely with Walter Mitty character Michael Weiss, long described Alloush as a sweet-talking moderate whose diplomatic and military skills would consign the non moderates to either change their ways or be consigned to history's trash can. The truth is that Alloush and his butchers always worked closely with their fellow butchers and they were as extreme as any of the others, even using women and children as human shields. Alloush' speeches disparaged the Raafida,
a hate term for Shiites, and the Majous
, a hate term used against Alawites and Shia that label them crypto Iranian heretics. Zahran exhorted his followers to cleanse Damascus of all Shiites and Nusayris, a hate term used against Alawites and to rid all of Syria of their corrupting influences
.
Alloush did not just talk the hate talk; he walked it as well as any of the other Murder Inc mobsters. The language and actions of Alloush demonstrated that in words, actions and ideology, the Islamic Front and the other al-Qaida groups are one. They both embraced foreign jihadists and encouraged them to come to Syria to rape, loot and pillage. They both paraded women and children they kidnapped in cages. They both called for the resurrection of an Islamic Caliphate and they both looked back to the Golden Age of Islam for the principles upon which their new state would be founded. Their political philosophy and blue print for the future is largely based on a similar reading of Islamic history and the Qur’an.
Alternative Media
Though alternative media is becoming an increasingly important reference source, Russia Insider, in which Russia Today's Peter Lavelle had a 25% stake, shows there are major teething problems, many of them possibly fraudulent. The most charitable thing that can be said about initiatives like Russia Insider is they did not have the correct business model. Until that model comes along, NATO's mainstream media will continue to set the agenda and control the narrative in NATO's interests and con men and con women will continue to exploit the world's tragedies.
BaronDavidAlton
David Alton is a a British politician. He is a former Liberal Party and later Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament who has sat as a crossbench member of the House of Lords since 1997 when he was made a life peer. He is known for his human rights work on such issues as the plight of Christians in the Middle East. He stupidly spoke up for Hand in Hand for Syria in the British House of Lords on 10 January 2013. While denouncing the British government's position on the genocide of Yezidi and Christians, he made a passionate case for Syria's Christians here.
America: The New Roman Republic
The story of Rome has always fascinated despots like Napoleon, who had himself painted crowned, Caesar like, with Roman laurels. Kaisers, Kings and Tsars all modeled themselves on the Caesars; George Washington, Jefferson and America’s other founding fathers were no exceptions. Whereas Napoleon saw himself as a modern Julius Caesar, the monster who committed genocide on Napoleon’s Gallic ancestors, Jefferson and George Washington both used Cincinnatius, the seemingly selfless patrician servant of Rome after whom the state of Cincinnati is named, as their personal guardian angels.
Washington, after doing his country some service
, forsook the corridors of power for his slave plantation. So too did Jefferson, when he returned to his plantation concubines. Jefferson also founded the University of Virginia and deliberately excluded Divinity from its Schools. This was the first university ever to be so constituted. During the Civil War, both sides could quote the Jeffersonian dogma to their advantage, evidence that the Bible is not the only Sacred Scripture
open to diverse interpretations.
Washington and his fellow freemasons instituted a republic, where the res publica, the affairs of state, were to be conducted by those born to rule (of the 56 signatories of the US Declaration of Independence, 50 were freemasons.). The USA was constituted as a republic, not as a democracy, where demos, the people, rule. Thus, the modern American state can trace its lineage through revolutionary France and Cromwell’s English republic all the way back to Rome, more so than it can to Grecian democratic ideals. It is not a democracy and its strongest proponents are not democrats. Often, as with Hitler and the New World Order’s other proponents, they are and always have been autocrats, pompous bullies who feel they are deigned to rule over us, the rabble.
Rome was larger than any Western city until London surpassed it in the 19th century. Their ships were likewise not surpassed in size until the heyday of the 19th century British Empire. The Romans invented cement, sewage, water supply and their citizens had one passport, one money, one army, one language, one law, one set of acceptable ideas and, as often as not, one leader; the Romans were as planned, ordered and methodical as the most predatory jungle beast. The Pax Romana was the longest peace Europe has ever known; all the roads, which famously led to Rome, allowed the conquering legions march to the furthest reaches of the empire to crush dissent just as it enabled plunder, booty and slaves to flow Romewards. Rome gave us the world’s first tourist boom when senatorial junkets sailed off to view the Pyramids or Greece on the flimsiest of excuses today’s politicians would be all too familiar with.
The Romans produced many geniuses; Seneca, for example, was the brains behind the madness of Nero, who, like despots ever since, was blindly followed even though he was a genocidal maniac. However, the Romans’ real forte was in rape, plunder and pillage. Julius Caesar’s legions, for example, dispatched over one million Gauls in a series of brutal campaigns that must rank with history’s most pitiless genocides.
The Romans treated wars holistically; they stole weapons, technology and any edge they could from both their enemies and allies. The Etruscans, for example, devised the concept of legions and Scipio copied Hannibal’s tactics, forcing him to defend Carthage, rather than attacking Rome; the Romans also built their entire fleet from a prototype they captured from Carthage. The Romans also used Carthage’s use of mass child sacrifice as an excuse to conquer and enslave Carthage’s domains. The Roman legions had extreme, unflinching discipline and, as with the SS, retreat was never an option.
Because Rome’s endless wars of conquest were financially draining, they devised pension schemes and citizenship for the Marcus mules, the conscripted soldiers who lugged 80 lbs of equipment with them on their interminable marches. The Americans, whose present empire resembles Rome’s, have adopted a similar policy today and hordes of foreigners now sign up for combat in Iraq and Afghanistan in the hope of securing American citizenship if they survive the endless firefights.
The famous adage is that the Romans were ruled by bread and circuses. Circuses were certainly plentiful, bread less so. The Coliseum, the Bronze Age precursors of today’s World Wide Wrestling, had 45,000 seats with standing room for another 20,000. The Circus Maximus held 170 huge games per year and the work shy Romans were addicted to these gory slaughter fests, even as 95% of Romans were stuck solidly beneath the poverty line and infant mortality was an astonishing 50% in this rigid, slave based society. Plague ravished the poor, who were heavily taxed to pay for Rome’s vast armies and the legions of parasites, who leeched off the state. Because the taxation burden was not shared equally, the huge exemptions the sycophants and bureaucrats enjoyed meant that the burden fell disproportionately on those least able to pay. Rome, like our modern Western societies, was sitting on a powder keg of resentment and injustice.
Inflation was a perennial problem and, contrary to Gibbon’s claim that Christianity killed off Rome, heavy taxes sounded its death knell long before Peter and Paul hit the Big Smoke. Octavian, who foreshadowed the economic reinvigoration policies of FDR, Keynes and Hitler, instituted lots of public works projects, including the restoration of temples, to visibly restore the stone and marble fabric and semblance of the empire. Although Octavian’s initiatives slowed the slide, Rome’s social fabric was already shredding. Picture modern Athens and London bankrupting themselves over the Olympics and you get the picture.
Although Augustus had noted that the tangible costs outweighed the intangible benefits of constant imperial expansion, Hadrian was the first emperor to draw a line in the sand to further expansion. More precisely, he built Hadrian’s wall and other physical barriers both to the growth of empire and to the incursion into the empire by those outside the Roman Pale. His policy of retrenchment was economically driven; he saw no extra mileage in grabbing new, underdeveloped lands. He concentrated on developing what he had.
So too did Justinian, whose taxes to fight defensive wars bled the empire dry. Diocletian, who faced similar problems, responded by freezing prices, banning Christianity and feeding its adherents to the lions on Rome’s numerous circus days. Even though the
