About this ebook
Why Mary Matters is volume two of Mark Whitten's Ancient Faith Matters Series. This book is not a lengthy theological treatise on Mary's role in Christian worship and practice. It is, however, a small attempt (with a big heart) to correct and challenge a few of the common misconceptions that Protestants may hold concerning Mary, the mother of Jesus. This book is intended to inform and challenge protestant and catholic believers alike to more fully understand and communicate the place of Christ's mother in Christianity. It is the author's hope, in some small way, to restore right thinking about the woman was faithful to say “Yes” to God and who continues to pray for us on our journey to Jesus.
