The monstrous Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) has posed great health challenges to the global community. It has caused colossal and devastating lost to the human race. Considering the rate at which this disease spreads, as seen particularly in West Africa’s EVD epidemic, the disease if left untamed, has the ability of causing the extinction of the human race. Therefore, global response in containing its spread/effect must be holistic with particular emphasis to awareness, as emphasised by this book.
This book puts up a well elucidated and simplified information about the Ebola Virus Disease, for the consumption of the public. This work will go a long way in educating the society on the most dreaded and highly infectious viral disease in human history. The book has addressed pertinent issues that one should know about the disease. I therefore, strongly prescribe this book for every one that is interested in joining the fight against the EVD.
