About this ebook

John Alessi built the space ship Seeker. John’s son, Eric a professor at M.I.T. invented a revolutionary engine that would allow the Seeker to travel through space at the speed of light. The magnetronic drive harnessed magnetism and the gravity of planets as propulsion for his ship. John was able to travel to the far reaches of the Universe in mere days instead of years or a lifetime.

On his maiden voyage to Mars, John discovered life on the planet. The Martians lived under a sealed dome in the huge mountain of Olympus Mons. There he met Kimi, a beautiful Martian woman and fell in love. She became his mate and traveled with him aboard the Seeker. Together they discovered sentient beings on other planets in unexplored reaches of the Universe never seen by man.

Their travels took them through wormholes and galaxies to several planets in the Universe. On these planets John and Kimi discovered humanoids. They interacted with the inhabitants and found their cultures to be similar to those on planet Earth.

Throughout their travel and interaction with the various cultures of those planets, John and Kimi could not fathom how these beings could all have such striking similarities with the cultures of Earth in appearance, foods, language, and religion.

The revelation came after John and Kimi left the sixth planet they visited. After leaving the planet and returning to deep space, they met a fiery glow of seemingly hundreds of suns where a booming voice resonated from space into their minds. The thoughts resounded loudly, “I am your one true god. I am all that there is. I am the Creator. The Universe, the planets, the galaxies, the stars are all that I am.” The Creator explained in detail how it was the Universe and created planets and initiated the creation of Earth and evolution of mankind. John and Kimi accepted the Creator’s story as it made perfect sense. After all, the Universe is totally endless, infinitely powerful and most of it is still beyond human comprehension.

Following their revelation meeting with the Creator, John invited Kimi to start a new life with him on planet Earth. She happily accepted. They returned to Earth and Kimi quickly assimilated into the society of her new world. A while after their return to Earth, a nagging thought occurred to John. He discussed with Kimi about how all the beings on the planets they discovered were entirely peaceful and friendly. None exhibited a “dark side” such as existed on Earth with its documented history of violence, greed and envy.

After discussing the differences between the peaceful beings they encountered and the inhabitants of Earth, they became determined to find the reason for the ‘duality’ of mankind and the origins of good and evil.

John and Kimi determined the answers might only be found by returning to space . . . .

The Universe Revisited - John Dalessio

    INTRODUCTION

On those planets John and Kimi discovered humanoids. They interacted with the inhabitants and found their cultures to be similar to those on planet Earth.

Throughout their travel and interaction with the various cultures of those worlds John and Kimi could not fathom how these beings could all have such striking similarities with the cultures of Earth in appearance, foods, language, and religion.

The revelation came after John and Kimi left the sixth planet they visited. After leaving the planet and returning to deep space, they met a fiery glow of seemingly hundreds of suns where a booming voice resonated from space into their minds.

The thoughts resounded loudly, I am your one true god. I am all that there is. I am the Creator. The Universe, the planets, the galaxies, the stars are all that I am.

The Creator explained in detail how it was the Universe and created planets and initiated the creation of Earth and evolution of mankind. John and Kimi accepted the Creator’s story as it made perfect sense. After all, they thought, the Universe is totally endless, infinitely powerful and most of it is still beyond human comprehension.

After their revelation meeting with the Creator, John invited Kimi to start a new life with him on planet Earth. She happily accepted. They returned to Earth and Kimi quickly assimilated into the society of her new world.

A while after their return to Earth, a nagging thought occurred to John. He discussed with Kimi about how all the beings on the planets they discovered were entirely peaceful and friendly. None exhibited a dark side such as existed on Earth with its documented history of war, violence, greed and envy.

After discussing the differences between the peaceful beings they encountered and the inhabitants of Earth, they became determined to find the reason for the ‘duality’ of mankind and the origins of good and evil.

John recalled the Creator told them they had no further need to continue travel in his Universe. He pondered, did the Creator reveal all about the different cultures he transplanted on Earth? Was there something more he and Kimi should know that occurred on other planets in the Universe that they hadn’t visited? John determined the answers might only be found by returning to space . . . .

    RETURN TO EARTH

The Seeker was traveling through the dark outer reaches of space approaching the speed of light. John previously thought it improbable that life in human form existed this far out in the universe. Having traveled light years in his ship, the Seeker, across the Universe, through wormholes to distant galaxies, he had hoped to find other life forms. He sought possibly a higher more evolved life form than humans or even primordial life forms in various stages of evolution. Instead he and Kimi, his Martian mate discovered races of humanoid beings with similar biological and cultural characteristics to the peoples of planet Earth. Not that he was at all that disappointed in those findings.

John thought there had to be a common basis for the striking similarities. Was the Creator in space, that he and Kimi encountered, truly the single powerful entity that created all the life in the universe as well as on planet Earth? Did the religions of Earth have a true spiritual beginning, but not as the biblical interpretations recorded by man?

Did a deity that we humans call God exist in reality or did he exist only in those scriptures of mankind. Was man created in the image of God or was man created in his own image by the Creator?

In Polytheism, early man on Earth worshipped many deities including stone, trees, animals, the elements, the sun, and the moon in the heavens. Monotheism, a belief in one God characterizes the traditions of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and others. It’s understandable how man could come to worship a single God, reasoned John!

John Alessi and his Martian mate Kimi were streaking through space in the Seeker approaching a wormhole that would put them closer to Earth. John was looking forward to seeing his son Professor Eric Alessi of M.I.T. Eric designed and built the magnetronic drive that powered the Seeker to light speed, and permitted exploration of the Universe in mere weeks rather than a lifetime.

John was wrestling with his thoughts on how to tell Eric of his adventure through the Universe with Kimi. He recalled the maiden voyage of the Seeker to Mars, discovering Martian life under a dome inside the enormous mountain of Olympus Mons. Olympus Mons was three times higher than Mt. Everest and about the size of the state of Arizona. Inside that mountain he met the beautiful Martian woman, Kimi who later became his mate. She left her home on Mars to travel with him many light years through the Universe discovering life on other planets in far distant galaxies.

Traveling at the speed of light, they discovered new galaxies and planets never seen by man. They interacted with peaceful humanoid life forms on the several worlds they found in the seemingly endless reaches of the Universe. Together they discovered that all the beings on those planets had similar characteristics to the cultures on Earth. The reason for those similar characteristics came to light John recalled, when an entity in the far reaches of the Universe made itself known as The Creator.

There was no visual image or conversation, but simply a transfer of thoughts to Kimi and him that the Universe was the true Creator of all that exists. The Creator stated the Universe was his body and it was forever endless and timeless.

The Creator continued a lengthy story of how it created humankind and populated the planets including Earth, simply to observe the interaction of different cultures for millenniums of entertainment. A nagging thought occurred to John.

The Creator’s story, though credible enough didn’t account for why the inhabitants of the planets he and Kimi discovered were all so peaceful and the cultures on Earth in contrast had a ‘dark side.’ Certainly humans are capable of good, kindness, love, and sensitivity but humans also have been capable of hatred, greed, murder, and war. Historically this duality that has been referred to as ‘good’ and ‘evil’ has troubled humanity since they became fully conscious beings. John recalled none of the cultures of the planets that he and Kimi discovered and interacted with, exhibited any confrontational or evil tendencies. They did not exhibit a ‘dark side.’

John’s thoughts were interrupted when the distant wormhole came into view. A galaxy of bright stars was visible through the whirling opening. As they approached Kimi said, John, the wormhole seems stable, that is it is not moving through space. John replied, It appears to be safe for travel Kimi, brace yourself we’re going in.

The Seeker entered the wormhole and the ship immediately shuddered, began vibrating, then started rotating slowly clockwise through the wormhole, emerging moments later without damage. John and Kimi were relieved that they passed through the wormhole safely without incident, and were greeted with a view of a spiral of giant stars, illuminating interstellar gases, and dust.

We must be somewhere in the Milky Way Kimi, John remarked. He recalled that the Milky Way was immense, measuring some 120,000 light-years in diameter. It is home to planet Earth about 26,000 light-years from its galactic center."

John said, Kimi, the most common star in the Milky Way are Red dwarf stars. Due to their low luminosity, individual Red dwarfs cannot easily be observed from Earth. Maybe we can locate one on our return trip to Earth that may have a planet orbiting it that supports life.

I’m always ready for a new adventure John, Kimi replied, hopefully we might come across another inhabited planet before we reach Earth. Alright Kimi, said John, Let’s explore the Milky Way as we travel toward home.

We’ll head for the Canis Major Galaxy, the closest known dwarf galaxy to our solar system. Even at light speed, it may take a week to get there. The Seeker approaching light speed traveled without incident through several star systems toward the Canis Major Galaxy.

Eight days later, John and Kimi were approaching the dwarf galaxy that lay unobserved from Earth behind the dust and gas in the disk of the Milky Way.

Upon entering the galaxy, a sun with a single orbiting planet appeared dimly through the dust and gases. Kimi, John said, plug in co-ordinates to that planet and we’ll slow to sub-light speed and orbit the planet slowly checking it for signs of life and habitability. About an hour later, the Seeker approached the dwarf planet and Kimi began scanning the planet for habitability and signs of life.

The planet has an atmosphere, said Kimi. I’m reading 20% oxygen, 76% nitrogen levels in the environment. The air is breathable and the climate is temperate. There are limited life signs concentrated on a single green land mass near the equator. John said, I’ll head there Kimi and look for a landing site. Moments later, John landed the Seeker in a small clearing at what appeared to be the edge of a large tropical forest. Kimi, John said, we should strap on our side arms just in case any thing out there is unfriendly. Kimi
