I am eternally grateful to my immigrant father. He was a man of few words, but he taught me that truth, honesty, determination, and hard work are the foundation for success. He may have had only a third-grade education, but he led by example. I thank him for instilling in me an I can do anything I set my mind to
attitude, and that the university of life
experiences provide the ultimate education—that real learning begins after formal schooling ends.
It is my father’s philosophy that allows me to step out of constraining boxes of conformity and into the world of possibilities.
Thank you, also, to my editor, Dawn Josephson, and my graphic designer, Janet Aiossa, for helping to make this book a reality.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge the impact others had on my life:
Walt Disney
Albert Einstein
Steve Jobs
The Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland
Yoda, Star Wars
Thank you all for your inspiration and many life lessons.
A Note from the Author
I wrote this book for the millions of hard working decision-makers, thought-leaders, and employees who realize that a stable economy and traditional methods of communication and operations came crashing down around organizations and institutions with the advent of the new millennium. This upheaval continues to exponentially increase causing chaos and disengagement in the workplace.
But I didn’t write just a series of books; rather, I want to take you on a transformational journey, including the process of change and the new tools needed to meet the demands of a radically changed 21st century workplace. This is an empowering process that will provide you the roadmap and tools to overcome the complexities of a multi-generation, disengaged workforce, while increasing performance and productivity at
