Ava’s path crosses with tall dark and handsome Detective Jerome Samuels, a divorcee in search of love, the sad thing is Ava can't stand him. Once their paths cross after a few bumps along the way there’s no turning back, these two characters are caught up in a whirlwind of sensual and heartwarming romance, once they settle their differences. A love affair that Detective Jerome Samuels hopes is not just for Christmas, he’s on a mission to claim his lady Ava.

    Kim is thirty four (born in 1983), and from London in the UK. She’s a mother to a beautiful toddler and a proud award winning author ( awarded the title Best Romance 2017 for the novel A Stranger in France). Kim started her journey as a traditionally published author after she scored a publishing contract with a USA based publisher. She was over the moon! However, it became clear to Kim that things were not as she expected. Therefore, she set out on her own journey, she dived head first into the world of self-publishing and republished two of her fictional stories, and became a proud self-published author also. Something great was unleashed, she’ll never look back in regret. As a reader she’s head over heels in love with romance, historical fiction, crime fiction, African- American, suspense and thriller genre books. At present Kim is writing a romantic suspense novel, and brainstorming steamy romance novella ideas. As a writer, Kim enjoys creating stories with a diverse and multi-cultural line up, within the romance, romantic suspense and general thriller and crime genres. When she’s not reading, or writing stories of her own her other passions include practising her French, fashion, make-up artistry, drawing, spending time at her sewing machine dressmaking, watching make –up and beauty tutorials on YouTube, letter writing and being a mum.

      Ava is determined not to spend Christmas alone, but with someone special, a plight many can identify with. But Ava's been hurt by love in the past, and she's hesitant to start a relationship so soon without getting to know the person fully. She places an advertisement in the paper for that special someone to spend Christmas with. Little does she realize love is very near with someone she would never have suspected.

      Jerome also looking for love after the failure of his ten-year marriage, responds to Ava’s ad and the intrigue, tease, and romancing culminates to every woman's fantasy. The author's technique sustains the reader’s attention to the end superbly!!
