      1 The Reports

      T

      he world is full of eyewitness accounts of alien contacts and sightings of unidentified flying objects, which may be alien craft. People have reported seeing saucers, cylinders, and triangles of various sizes flying through the skies. They have reported a variety of lights dancing in the oddest places. Others who hear these reports frequently scoff, considering the reporters to be mentally disturbed. The sheer magnitude and variety of these reports suggest that some of them are reporting something real.

      If your next-door neighbor came to you and told you that he had just seen a saucer ship come down in his backyard, and the occupants had stolen his cooking flapjacks and then conducted an anal probe of him, you might consider him insane. I know that I would. When hundreds, thousands and millions of groups and individuals separated from each other by geography, culture, and personality all report the same things; you might take them more seriously.

      Occam's razor is the idea that if there are multiple explanations for an event, the simplest one that agrees with all the facts is probably the correct one. When doctors, engineers, waitresses, police officers and your neighbor all report the same experience, you can question the cause of the event, but not the existence of the event.

      People have been reporting strange encounters with entities and vehicles, usually attributed to alien visitors for several decades on a massive scale. Historically, there were sightings made of similar craft and creatures for centuries, along with reports of 'little people,' ape-men and many other creatures and events. What are we to make of all this?

      The questions are unlimited. Are aliens really visiting, and from where do they come? Are any of the Old Gods part of this process, and what does Big Foot have to do with aliens, anyway? Why are there so many kinds of aliens reported, and why are none of them giant intelligent clams or Octopoids?

      Let me tell you about myself. I tend to be a skeptic about any individual report on this sort of subject, but I strive to keep an open mind about the subject. I see no reason to form a premature belief on the subject. It is far better to gather the evidence and decide later. We can use critical thought methods to keep ourselves on track.

      The first part of the solving of any problem is to state the problem. If we want to get some answers on the subject of alien visitors, we need to decide what questions we have for which the answers are available, useful, and helpful. This book will attempt to frame those questions, and present plausible hypotheses or possible answers to those questions.

      I am quickly disgusted by the modern tendency to use undefined terms to describe events and experiences. This lack of definition leads the Seeker to make unconscious assumptions, which are unlikely to be correct, and which will leave huge gaps in their logical arguments.

      One such imprecise use of a word is when an overenthusiastic witness says that the saucer or Big Foot that they saw was 'interdimensional.' I think that they are trying to say that it comes from a space that is co-spatial with the space that we live in, such as in a parallel universe. The problem is that a parallel universe is not another dimension.

      We are said to live in a four-dimensional space. That would be the three navigatable x, y and z directions, and a non-navigatable time dimension used to mark the time of event sub-events. Strictly speaking, I consider our space to be a functional 3-Space since we have no way to navigate in time other than living through events or making use of a singularity such as a wormhole to jump to the desired coordinates.

      Depending on the theory listened to, our universe may have another seven to twenty-one other dimensions rolled up too small for anything or anybody to navigate. Again, I refer you to my 'functional dimension' definition. If you can travel up and down the line of points that represent the dimension without having to 'jump' using a singularity or a quantum effect, then it is a dimension, otherwise it is not. Time is not, because you would have to use a singularity to visit the past.

      People also like to use the term 'change of vibration' to indicate an ability to pop in and out of our space. Vibrations are a resonance in a material due to an outside force acting on it, and by the emission of the energy by kinetic or photonic means usually follows. Unlike the cartoons, a quickly vibrating object is not invisible, and it has no special spiritual properties.

      The questions that we need to answer are as follows:

      1. What are these UFOs, and where do they come from?

      2. What do Big Foot and similar creatures have to do with the UFO activity?

      3. Why are all of the aliens reported humanoid?

      4. What do the aliens want that brings them to earth?

      5. Have the aliens contributed to our development?

      6. Were the old gods actually aliens?

      7. How long has the Human species been in this form?

      You can generate variations of these questions one after another, but I think that we have covered the basics with these questions. It will be difficult to find positive answers to these questions, due to lack of hard data and evidence, but you can eliminate whole classes of possible answers due to inconsistencies in their structures. That should keep us busy for some chapters.

      I will not make use of any of the normal footnoting systems in this book, preferring to briefly explain sources and provide you with a link to the relevant websites. I rarely follow up with normal footnotes when I am reading, but I will frequently follow links to check out information at the source, so I decided to provide the same access to my readers. It is also a library of great books by other writers as well, so I hope it is valuable to the readers and the other Authors as well.

      When one investigates a subject, such as alien contact reports, it is best to keep in mind that one must follow the facts no matter where they might lead. It is best not to form opinions until you receive definitive facts to support a particular opinion.

      As I mentioned before, there have been millions of reports of alien contacts made from all parts of the world, from a very diverse group of Experiencers. While the reports sometimes include very odd details, there is enough agreement on the details in unrelated reports that one must reach the conclusion that there is a real event at the heart of these reports.

      The reports include a number of details not known in common by the reporters before their experience, such as the small gray alien types assuring contactees that they are from Zeta Reticuli. It is possible that the 'Greys' are the universe's worst drivers, being the source of the bulk of the earth's collection of crashed saucers. Not as bad as little old Asian women, but close.
