Reviews for For the Love of the Army
1 rating1 review
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A handy reference book on the British Army. It provides a broad survey of the British Army's history, organization, equipment and rich culture. While enjoyable to read, I recommend better editing of future editions. Throughout the book sentence structure was unnecessarily long and complicated. It may be the author was attempting to convey a conversational tone with the reader. However, shorter sentences and better editing would have helped.
Overall I found this a pleasant read and recommend it to anyone interested in knowing more about the British Army.
