About this ebook

The Russians Are Coming takes a hard look at the 2016 Russian interference charge level by James Clapper and the CIA.

OR explores the two distinct agenda associated with the interference storyline. The first agenda is the liberal media's (vested interest--Ebook False Narrative) desire to continue on with its stolen election narrative. The second agenda is that of the originator of the interference conspiracy.

Occam's Razor goes on to examine the CIA charge in depth--largely debunking the CIA's case, giving alternative rationale to the facts presented in the CIA's public declassified report.

In typical OR fashion it is the inconsistencies and contradictions of the CIA charge that lead to the conclusion the Russian interference charge was not founded in reality; but rather, was likely politically motivated.

Occam's Razor is predicated on a single guiding principle--relief.

By utilizing the principles of plausibility attributed to William of Ockham, OR is focused on addressing the frustration and anxiety that has led to so much anger regarding the Hot Button issues of the day.

OR seeks to accomplish this goal by using critical reasoning (not opinion) to create objective insights and context that permits the reader to reach their own informed conclusions.

The Russians Are Coming - Dan Butterfield

    About Occam’s Razor

Occam’s Razor is predicated on a single guiding principle—relief.

More to the point, Occam’s Razor is focused on addressing the frustration and anxiety, that has led to so much anger regarding the pressing issues of the day, by working to develop the context and insights necessary to create an informed consumer base.

It must be emphasized: There is no desire on the part of Occam’s Razor to influence the reader with opinion. There is already more than enough such material, mostly unfounded, in the market. Furthermore, it is the feeling of the author that opinion, founded or otherwise, does not lead to lasting relief and therefore has limited value.

This has led to a different kind of product, one where topics are explored in an a-political, non-biased manner using the principles of plausibility attributed to William of Ockham (1287-1347).

Occam’s razor: Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions is likely the right one. In other words: In the American Southwest, if one hears hoof beats—think horses, not zebras.

It is worth stating: There is rarely any certitude when dealing with current events or any issue for that matter.

In addition, there is no claim of deity like abilities on the part of Occam’s Razor.

The author is well aware he does not possess every possible fact or infinite wisdom.

Still, by applying the principles of plausibility to known (public) facts, rather than, relying on mere conjecture and opinion a far more robust picture can be developed. It is this more robust, non-biased, picture that leads to the creation of an informed consumer.

Note: Introducing political or emotional bias into any issue/situation does not lead to good judgment, rather they create barriers to good judgment.

And, only through giving the consumer the necessary tools to make informed decisions can relief be provided.

    Preface

The Russians Are Coming explores the charge of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election leveled by former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper.

It is worth noting: Issues such as the Russian interference saga are why Occam’s Razor was created in the first place. Inherently, it is heated issues like the Russian interference story that benefit the most from the a-political non-biased treatment as the one taken by Occam’s Razor.

Nevertheless, even with the non-biased approach of Occam’s Razor there are major challenges with the Russian interference story—mainly due to the multiple storylines intertwined in the interference charge.

The Russians Are Coming explores those multiple agenda.

There is the Old Guard Media agenda driven by their desire to carry forward with their Landslide Victory/Stolen Election agenda despite no clear evidence to support those claims.

Then there is the agenda of those who crafted the interference charge—the two agenda are not the same.

From this point the arguments presented by DNI Clapper and the CIA are dissected utilizing the principles of plausibility attributed to William of Ockham (1287-1347).

    "Are the CIA arguments valid?

The Russians Are Coming goes beyond testing the CIA conclusion looking for alternative explanations—explanations that are more plausible.

    Introduction

When the CIA narrative of Russian Interference was first brought to the public’s attention it was immediately embraced by the Old Guard media.

The liberal media should be wary of Greeks bearing gifts.

It is undeniable, the liberal media was on an epic losing streak. They had bet big on Clinton, casting off the thin veneer of objectivity they had for years hidden behind and threw the full weight of their resources to Hillary Clinton to
