    Chapter I

    There once lived a kind and beautiful lady in the town of Hamlin. Her name was Miss Blackberry which suited her as she had long dark hair that resembled the color of blackberries. Her large green emerald eyes sparkled and her smile was cheerful and bright.

    Miss Blackberry was a piano teacher and taught many children in the town of Hamlin how to play the piano. Miss Blackberry was an extremely talented pianist. Her fingers would glide ever so gracefully over the piano keys and produced the most delightful of sounds.

    Miss Blackberry lived in a large lavender colored house that consisted of many rooms, and, in nearly every room there was a piano. She was very fond of pianos of all shapes and sizes and had quite a collection.

    She also had a collection of paintings of famous musicians who lived long ago. Throughout her house, there were paintings of highly admired musicians such as Mr. Johann Sebastian Bach, Mr. Ludwig Van Beethoven,
