- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Needs Work…A Lot of Work I don’t know where to start this review as I don’t quite know what “Sexed by Six: Balancing Lust and Deception” is. Things happen. There are characters. But beyond that…there’s not much more. Jason is the main character and the book is told from his point of view as well as his fiancé, Jasmine; his best friends, William and Demarcus; Jasmine’s best friend, Tyra; and a chick named Keisha. That’s your six and they all do have sex. But again…there’s not much more beyond that. There is zero character development apart from knowing each character’s name and a general physical description. Things happen, the characters do things, but there is no plot development. And the things that happen don’t always add up or make sense because readers have nothing to go on. Because of that, I found myself simply reading through the 155 pages just to complete it. I wasn’t vested in the story or its character. The author gave me no reason to be. Also, “Sexed by Six” is in desperate need of editing. As is, I cannot recommend “Sexed by Six: Balancing Lust and Deception.” I’d strongly urge the author to seek the assistance of a qualified developmental editor as well as a copy editor.
