About this ebook

You may not recognize love at first, which is why you must treasure it, whenever you find it.

To see properly, one looks for qualities of "humility" and "understanding".

They are related to "kindness" and "equity". While "anticipation" and "determination" are required, you must also distinguish between "wanting" and "needing".

Acknowledging the role of "patience" and "understanding", love will be as reliable and enduring as memory allows.

This book was written in memory of those who have made us love them, yet at the same time - recognizing the ambivalence that remembering can bring.

Author

Gwen Editin

Love brings with it such a myriad of emotion when you move out of home at the age of 16, begin living a life of "sin," elope at the age of 18, are divorced at the age of 25, re-married at 28, widowed at 35, and re-married at the age of 40. Just when you think you "have it all" love can disappear, mysteriously reappearing in the most unlikely places. This book was written to re-create and share emotions involving the evolution of love. Discovering oneself while falling in love, is a journey to be shared. Sometimes all too soon forgotten, it is love that helps us to grow and if we are lucky - we learn to fly.

    Foreword

Love brings with it such a myriad of emotion

when you move out of home at the age of 16

to begin living a life of sin

elope at the age of 18

are divorced by the age of 25

    re-married at 28

    widowed at 35

and re-married at the age of 40.

    Love can be elusive.

Just when you think you have it all

    it can disappear,

mysteriously reappearing in the most unlikely places.

This book was written to share a journey that

    delves into diversity, but is

united by a single vision—to share, to re-create and to re-live.

Setting sail for that elusive paradise

    to discover different ways

that we might fall and stay in love

it would be wrong not to share the passion

that can be forgotten, all too soon

when it is love that helps us to grow

and if we are lucky—we learn to fly.

    Dear Reader:

Read this book as you would eat a piece of chocolate cake

Enjoy each tiny treasure, that you find within

Savour the moment, for its flavour may be fleeting

Men are not meant to live alone, they just think they can

Open your heart and your mind

    Neither is not a choice

    Dare to be wrong

    when all I want

    when all I want

    is only you

    I only need

    that you want me too

    if I could be all

    that you would need

    then I could show you

    how love should be

    to be everything

    to love only me

    to always be sure

    that it’s meant to be

    no matter how long

    it takes for us

    to find what it is

    when two people love

    what tells me I know

    this love is true

    is that

    all of my love

is what, I gave to you.

    She knew

She knew that in a minute, he was going to pull her toward him. That should give her enough time to decide how to respond, except that suddenly she couldn’t think.

From the day they had first met, Tammy had been hoping for this moment. Of course, she should have prepared for it.

Now she wasn’t exactly sure what to do. To follow her heart without planning ahead, would be risking everything.

Tammy knew if she let Alex hold her, she’d want more. She wasn’t sure if he was ready for that.

In the days following their introduction, she had tried to ensure Alex hadn’t had much time to worry where their friendship might lead. They had slowly begun to know each other. Now all Tammy knew, was that she wanted him in her life.

It had taken months to build his trust. In past relationships, Tammy knew she had been more than a little selfish. But Alex was different.

Alex had a smile that conveyed such boyish enthusiasm, that he was incapable of deception. Or so it seemed. Still, she thought—best toproceed with caution.

Her instincts told her that Alex might retreat.

When he started to reach for her, her whole body ached to surrender.

Tammy still didn’t know what to do, so she closed her eyes.

    to touch

to touch your face, I close my eyes

you give me a kiss, and then you smile

of all the times, I dream of you

there’s a way I hope, that you dream too

why did you come to me, this time

how don’t you know, I want you for mine

when all that I feel, I give to you

so you can be mine, and we can do

the things I want, to be only yours

all the things that I love, about you are

all rolled together, into one wish

    so
