About this ebook

As a college student, author Captain Jack Jaknovich yearned to understand the world. To do so, he began writing. In The Big Picture, he presents a host of essays compiled over the years that explain how actions, reactions, and consequences of various interconnected events follow an identifiable pattern in the past that points toward a goal of evolution for life from Earth into the universe.
The Big Picture discusses how businesses and nongovernmental organizations use governments, the media, and other sources to manipulate peoples fears to ensure profits for themselves and their associates. Jaknovich shows how this multi-pronged strategy causes people to fear independent travel, limit perspectives to that of mainstream media, and remain impassive regarding unethical practices. The essays include guidance for the psychological revolution needed to ensure the survival of life in a sustainable manner.
Drawing on interpretations from many realms of thought and study, The Big Picture presents a study on existence and evolution that can help humans live longer, happier lives.

    Preface

BY THE TIME I finished high school, my experiences with God and Churches did not compute and didn’t seem to have much to do with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This might have cast me as an Atheist, which was not a smart option during the cold war against Communism. It seemed that belief in God had wavered as technical advances marched on because in many circles, religion and sciences were not considered to be compatible. This was probably because many Christian religions’ dogma depended upon its followers having blind faith in their churches’ teachings.

The apparent disconnect between religions and the modern world’s quantifiable events and patterns caused many people to become confused about spirituality. If God did exist, then there needed to be some way to understand how God’s system functioned, how it is organized, and how everyone fit in the grand scheme. It seemed that something was out there, and I wanted to understand how things worked. This concept percolated in my mind during my freshman and sophomore years of college as some interesting experiences caused me to sense that there were differences between the God I learned about in Church and the entity that set things in motion that resulted in the creation of this beautiful world and universe.

This book is the result of serendipitously written impromptu essays revealed to me between October 1977 and April 1978 seemingly related to my inner quest to better understand how things really worked. I wrote the first impromptu essay one evening in response to a question posed by my Ancient History instructor. While the first essay kind of answered that question, other questions evolved. The next day, during another class, an answer to one of the new questions popped into my mind, and I wrote another impromptu essay. This process continued on a routine basis over the following six months during the course of studying, travelling, working, and free time.

I found that if I just pondered an idea that popped into my mind, I could not write it down later because it sped off and disappeared like the details of most dreams. However, I found that when I wrote these ideas into impromptu essays, my brain output slowed down to the speed that I wrote. Sometimes, it seemed that I was on a mission because if I didn’t write it down at that moment, it would keep popping up until I had a chance to write it down. Once I wrote information into an essay, I found I could let go of the previous topic and then my mind processed that information to develop the next essay.

After pondering a final concept for many days, I was finally able to put words to the impressions that I sensed. After I wrote that essay, I thought to myself How am I thinking of these things? Why am I thinking these things? A vision suddenly flashed in my mind of the impromptu essays as pieces of a jig-saw puzzle, and how they all fit together. The puzzle turned out to be The Big Picture. Then I organized the essays accordingly, typed them out and spent much spare time working on this project over the next several years while I finished university and beyond. And, then serendipity would take over and I’d meet the most interesting people or stumble upon very interesting information in various locations which seemed to bring everything full circle and relating general theory to current events, as per the Appendix. Of course, I also had to work through technology advances (typewriter to computer and various software issues), navigate various marketing trends, and pursue my day job. The whole experience was fun and invigorating!

Over the decades, I had an inner urge to continue working on this project because it might help people to better understand God, the Creator of the Universe. Today, it seems that the essays and book continue to be as pertinent, if not more so. In other words, this book is the end result of the inter-related revelations that poured out of my brain through my pen onto paper several decades ago. Now seems to be the time to publish it for people to read and begin a discussion.

    Acknowledgments

I WOULD LIKE to thank all of the people that I have come into contact with and/or befriended in the course of my serendipitous journey through life because they have all played a part in putting this book together. I feel that God has been a primary driving force and I thank God for the guidance of a wonderful life. Hopefully the experiences and insights exposed in this book will help others to help themselves to live longer happier lives as well as help God’s other creatures to recover their habitats and lead healthful lives so that humans (and other living creatures) will be able to evolve to the next level where future generations can continually learn from the mistakes of the past and expand to inhabit the universe, as seemingly intended by the Creator.

Also, I thank the Creator (God) for planning human beings and the universe in a way that permitted me to open the portal that enabled me to pursue the path of being inquisitive as to how the universe works and that the answers came spewing forth in a manner that I was able to record. As such I also want to thank serendipity for the events that allowed me to have the broad experiences that I have had that enabled me to connect the dots as presented in this book. I am thankful for my friends who urged caution about publishing the information developed due to its controversial nature. And, I am thankful for associates who encouraged me to move forward with this project because of its seeming redeeming qualities.

    Introduction

THIS BOOK COMBINES aspects of various sciences, philosophies, and organizations into a concise school of thought that describes how and why many economic concepts, governing systems, and organized religious institutions seem to function in conflict with the best long term interests of human beings (and life) on Earth. This is accomplished, in part, by explaining how the sciences and God (the Creator of the universe) fit together, thus why God and knowledge and the sciences should be considered to be complementary of each other. In this book are explanations of how a realistic utopia appears to have been intended by the Creator of the universe to be possible for people to develop and live in.

Once the big picture is understood, it may be apparent that many governments are being used as vehicles by some organizations to pursue policies that will result in the opposite of what could create a better life for all individual human beings everywhere. For example, long-term survival of human civilization is dependent upon healthy ecosystems that also include significant populations of creatures from God’s various animal and plant Kingdoms and, many governments seem to sanction economic practices that are not compatible with healthy ecosystems.

Among other things, this book describes how some organizations strive for effective control over the actions and thoughts of more and more people, causing them to become like robots until total control of the planetary labor pool by a self-selected few is achieved. This trend depends upon the exploitation of certain government organization loopholes and motivational qualities in human beings that are used to encourage people to pursue objectives that are not necessarily in their best long term interests.

In many cases this has been and will be accomplished through effective centralized mind programming. This concept of manipulation is expounded upon so the reader might be more aware of how to function within such parameters without losing touch with their God given qualities. As such, the reader will find explanations of how God functions as well as how and why true democracy must be implemented on all levels of government so Earthlings can avoid self-destruction and/or destroying the Earth before completing the steps necessary to continue the evolutionary track towards a better life into the universe, as the Creator apparently intends.

Thus, it appears that there are many differences between the way the world is today and the way that the Creator, which permitted and/or programmed the Earth and the universe to develop/evolve, intended. And, if current trends continue, the gap between the way things are and the way that things were intended will continue to grow until it can’t be closed or bridged again, on this planet.

Concepts have been explained in the course of applying them to explanations of natural theories that appear to apply to persons, communities of persons and other living creatures on all levels of governing. It is hoped that this will make it easier for all people to join together to correct the structural flaws of today’s societies and governing institutions to enable the current civilization to avoid destroying the basis of perpetual sustainable survival while preserving the God given qualities of individual freedom in a system that permits humans to live within the means of the planet Earth until all of the developmental building blocks are in place. This will enable humans to work within the Creator’s system to continue maturing towards the next level of evolution, that of settling planets in other systems to provide a continuous system of human use of God’s intellectual and physical gifts in a way that will permit future generations everywhere to understand and learn from the past while utilizing inherent synergies to move forward towards a better life for all.

This book provides a view of the web of the mental, physical, and spiritual networks of humans, their minds, and the universe in which they are located. Presently, the applicable sphere of influence primarily includes the Earth but, as humans actually expand into the universe, this school of thought should be sound with respect to relations with other life forms. An effort has been made to develop this school of thought from available facts and through logical relations, and fit them into a set of comprehensive generalizations. In other words, the effort has been scientific.

Part I describes some of the patterns, as apparently intended to exist by the Creator, of how individual minds operate under different conditions and explains how some of these patterns are manipulated in order to exploit people for different reasons. Part II describes many patterns of groups of individuals as ostensibly intended to exist by the Creator of the Universe at this stage of the evolution of life on Earth (and in the universe). Part III explains many patterns of the first two parts in terms more in tune with the spiritual jargon of recent centuries. Part IV combines the patterns of the first three parts to provide some insight as to why humans have continually failed to develop a better life through history, and shows a path of minimal conflict which would permit all humans to most easily create a better life within the original apparent intention of the Creator of the universe. Part V explains some of the innate contradictions between entities that are inherently separate, but have been lumped together by various institutions in their attempt to circumvent the patterns put forth in Parts I and II. And, Part VI extrapolates from the presentations of the first five parts explanations of things which should be taken into consideration by present and future governmental entities and other organizations in order to ensure the survival of humans and the natural supporting environment on Earth to continue evolving towards the sustainable future of humans and Earth-life into the universe as apparently intended by the Creator.

    Introduction

PART I RELATES psychohistory** to the revealed theory of life and its distinctive interconnected parts. Everything is relative to the frame of reference of each person’s mind. Everything of a physical nature definitely exists. Each individual perceives each thing relative to a combination of things that they have been exposed to in their past impressions, which they took in through the input functions of their mind. The mind constantly keeps an updated picture that is the basis of any opinion that the individual will hold on any topic. The final picture is different with each normal person due to the different aspects that were involved in each person’s life experiences and acquisition of knowledge. If many people hold the same opinion, it is likely because within their minds they all received the same type of input resultant**. Unless they are insane or they know more about the subject from different sources, the person will have the same opinion or similar reactions to certain actions. These impressions make up some of the pictures that are stored in the long-term memory of each person’s mind, and help form one’s personality.

Because God gave each person their own mind with which to think for themselves, it seems that the Creator intended for the civilization of human beings to function on a bubble-up basis for maximal happiness, efficiency, and healthy lives for all. Experience indicates that there is a long-term memory; that latent in everyone’s memory are all of the knowledge patterns and visions of the universe. On the other hand, there is also a short-term memory that is closely related to the cultural and social adaptation of the individual human being to their local society.

As illustrations for this argument, there are descriptions of the stultifying effects of industrialized societies on the creative and the freethinking aspects of the psyche. Also, explanations of how the disciplines demanded by militaries, many organized religious institutions, much of the business world, and most established political organizations manage to disconnect many minds from their deeper resources. It seems that some key top level government policy makers are aware of this discontinuity. It seems that they hope this will be advantageous to them or their associates in the long term, with respect to their political and fiscal power and ambitions, at the expense of the populace.

    Chapter One

    The Eight Dimensions

IF ONE LOOKS at the universe and attempts to figure out why they are where they are, then one will discover that the answer to their question can be quite complex. First, one must become aware of at least some of the things that exist above, as well as below them in order to see the interdependent relationship between everything that exists in the universe. Then, one must develop the ability to look at things from various points of view with respect to: 1) personal survival, 2) the survival of one’s species, and 3) Natural Law. This may seem like common sense, but then why do so many people look at life from a materialistic point of view?

Indeed, all three are really part of the same, since each one is the means of the other two. In the process, one will see many things that are obvious to a person who looks at things from a different perspective than the one in which they are located. One cannot realize that there are different perspectives unless they understand that there is more than one point of view to everything. If one remains in the same perspective throughout life, then the mind would most likely stagnate because it could not see or understand those things that can be so obvious if they looked at the situation from another frame of reference, as discussed in greater detail in VI-4.

When enough things are seen, taken in, and analyzed from different perspectives, it becomes apparent that there are eight dimensions present in [this part of] the universe that encompass all facets of all things. Of the eight, the first one is the basis, while the eighth is the potential connecting and controlling factor of all. The middle six dimensions make up the physical, spiritual, and scientific characteristics of everything in the universe.

In order to enhance the understanding of these dimensions by making them relative to 20th century mathematical semantics, the eight dimensions will be referred to as follows: #0 – the Point, #1 – Distance, #2 – Area, #3 – Volume, #4 – Time, #5 – Communication, #6 – Knowledge, #7 – Defined God.

Humanity has an understanding of dimensions zero through three because they have been proven to exist through mathematics. However, in the world where we live, the fourth dimension is not so easily apparent thus the fifth dimension was not thought to exist. The sixth dimension was put into the circular file soon after it was condemned by respectable governing regimes during and after the age of Socrates. However, the seventh dimension could not be ignored. Thus, some persons tried to fill the scientifically unexplained gap in the minds of the masses with the belief in various religions, as per Part III.

The sub-parts of the physical elements of the universe are made up of dimensions 0, 1, 2, and 3. The manner in which this aspect of the universe operates seemed like magic to humans until they began to learn how to use their brains to explain the physical properties of the universe. This is where dimensions 4, 5, and 6 come into play, in that they make dimensions 0, 1, 2, and 3 useful to the living. Dimension #7 is the coordinating element. The fact that the universe, Earth, humans, the natural environment around humans, and the patterns of history all exist is pretty good indication that a coordinated system exists.

Dimension zero is the position indicator of dimension numbers one through six. Without dimension number seven (defined God), there would not be a dimension number zero, thus nothing would exist. Dimensions one through three are defined to consist of series of points along up to three different directions made by the position indicator. It is self-evident that without a place to start, nothing would exist. The first dimension is distance, which is a series of points directed in a direction. The second dimension is area that is specifically contained by two lines or two series of points directed in two directions. The third dimension is the second dimension to the second power, which in turn creates volume. Obviously without dimension zero, one, and two, the third dimension would not exist. These four dimensions are the scientific basis upon which the Earth and all physical objects are described in academic circles, in whatever language, today.

    scan0001.jpg

    Diagram 1

Since it is accepted by the science community that dimensions zero, one, two, and three do exist, it is logical that the fourth dimension is time. Time is usually thought to be absolute with respect to the evolution of the Earth. Indeed, time is really a creation of academia to describe the relative space of moments between events or to quantify movement. Einstein’s Theory of Relativity shows that time is theoretically relative. Therefore, another definition of time would be the space of moments between two events. This definition of time describes time as practiced on Earth as well as with respect to the universe since people developed time in relation to his environment. Because time on Earth is based on a 24 hour/day, 365.25-day/year pattern, it qualifies as dimension #4.

Time being relative is important to this school of thought. Rather than historical patterns being absolute with respect to time, this theory views patterns of history as existing in absolute terms with respect to the consequences of events. Instead of basing patterns on absolute time intervals, this theory follows a two-dimensional sine wave (as per II-4) which relates patterns of direct and indirect consequences of events with respect to the individual freedom of humans in the past, the present and the future. This misconception causes Humankind to be in the rut of repeating mistakes instead of respecting history.

The reason that using time as an absolute frame of reference is often not practical is that their respective oppressed inhabitants cannot usually immediately counter the powers which persons of governments possess. The result is that events are predictable, but the timing of these events is not usually predictable. The bottom line reason is that authoritarian figures have cultivated the cold power of ignoring their consciences and putting greed above all else. By using guns, these oppressive leaders can give the peoples the choice of doing what the government says or facing death.

It is quite easy to ignore one’s conscience. For example, one can look at a situation in a hypothetical game manner to decide what needs to be done in order to accomplish a goal without regard to reality and Natural Law. It seems that leaders of autocratic organizations are able to ignore their conscience; otherwise there would have been a massive denunciation of war many centuries ago due to its destructive, inhumane, and wasteful nature. Historically, it is apparent that the more repressive a government is in dealing with the aspirations of its citizens, the longer it takes for a new ideal to be developed and implemented. Therefore, time cannot usually be used as an absolute medium for putting history into patterns. Because time cannot be used as a medium, the frame of reference must be the consequences of events.

    scan0002.jpg

The fifth dimension is Communication or modes of communication. The human being has five obvious and proven modes of communication – which are the basic senses of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. These five senses combined with speech are the scientifically accepted basis of the communication function of each individual’s controlling mechanism–the mind. All communication is channeled directly or indirectly through the mind via education, experience, what is already in the mind, and what comes into the mind from within the mind such as subconscious thoughts, the conscience, dreams, knowledge, etc. Other input functions include intuition and/or clairvoyance that sometimes are grouped into the category of ESP. or Extra-Sensory-Perception. Also, the mind is able to communicate with the minds of other individuals, animals, or God directly or indirectly via natural forces such as the weather, astronomical or terrestrial events as discussed in III-2.

Some people have removed the possibility of these alternative modes of communication from their minds because they are so intent on believing that it is impossible for people to participate and utilize these modes of communication. Remember the saying, where there is a will, there is a way. If closed minded people do not want to be open to the possibility that additional modes of communication exist, there is no use in wasting time and energy trying to convince them that they exist.

Botanists have determined that trees and plants do indeed communicate, but in a language that they have yet to decipher and completely understand. According to this school of thought, it is possible for every living thing to communicate, but not necessarily through speech or other normal external human-like means. Indeed, often it appears that most communication originates from some other part of the living thing’s container, probably some aspect of the mind. This does not mean through imagination. Experiments have indicated that from within the human mind it is possible to read another’s thoughts, and to make another’s mind to do something or to not do other things. This hidden mode of communication seems to be dependent upon utilizing brain waves. But such waves have yet to be deciphered by machines, thus as the 20th century closes, they are not scientifically valid. In the plant world, an example is a type of ground cover in Sri Lanka that pulls back as a human hand comes near it.

    scan0003.jpg

There are several basic forms of communication between human beings that include, but are not limited to, the following general patterns of communication:

    1. Mind A to Mouth A to Ear B to Mind B

    2. Mind A to Action A to Sight B to Mind B

    3. Mind A to Touch A to Touch B to Mind B

These methods of communication are depicted in diagram 2.

In order to better understand the various ways of communicating, utilize the diagrams on the next page in comibnation with the following explanations:

    a. Human to Human–Mind A thinks of something to say in the language of the mind and then translates it into the language of its tongue. The message will go from Mind A to Mouth A which will speak the message and the message will then go through some medium into Person B’s ears or eyes which will then transmit the message into Mind B. Then Mind B will think of a response and send it back to Mind A via some method. This is a common method of communication in today’s world.

    b. Human to Human–Silent-(1) through the three human senses of sight, smell and feel. Mind A sees, smells, and/or feels something, and then Mind A interprets these signals with respect to past encounters and thereafter makes a reaction to the original action of Person B. Then, often times, the reverse will happen. (2)The second fashion of silent human to human communication is by utilizing the sixth sense, that which has been called ESP.(extra-sensory perception) or telepathic communication. This can be accomplished by staring at a point in the background (i.e. of a picture) and concentrating on that point. After a time of focusing, the synapse (as described in I-3) will open up. While concentrating, the individual can send their message by relaxing and thinking the message. The person to whom the message was sent will normally receive this type of communication when they are in a relaxed mood; i.e. asleep, bored in a classroom, or a meeting, or in a similar mood and the message may suddenly appear in one’s mind.

    c. Human to Animal – The apparent layout for communication between human beings and beasts is that a message will be communicated from PersonA to Animal B as actions and the tone of voice. The animal’s mind will then interpret the actions of A with respect to past experiences. Then the mind of the animal will react to the interpretation of its mind, and this reaction will be interpreted by Person A who will in turn react again. Informal investigations indicate that in addition to this method of communication between human beings and beast, that humans and beasts also communicate via the silent methods described above in b.1 and b.2.

    d. Human to God – as explained in III-2.

It seems that many scientists are reluctant to acknowledge the above-described mode of communication b(2) whereby direct communication between Mind A and Mind B seems to occur. This is because that scientific community has yet to document an explanation as to how and why this phenomenon occurs. It is suspected that a sixth sense exists and that some people have developed it to a greater extent than others have. On the other hand, some people may have lost the use of it less than others over the centuries. After all, it seems that much of the animal kingdom communicates in this fashion.

Such communication has been given the label Extra-Sensory Perception. It has been found to be especially prevalent in mothers, which at times has caused this ESP. to be known as mother’s intuition. According to this school of thought, everyone can potentially utilize the extrasensory perception mode of communication. Extra-sensory perception has yet to be officially publicly recognized because its existence has yet to be proven using third dimensional science. The various sciences are all interrelated, but there is a focal point that seems to divide spiritual and/or psychic aspects from the physical, chemical, and biological aspects of the universe.

With respect to human beings, this focal point is located in each individual’s mind. Dimensions #1, #2, and #3 are used to describe physical external things, while dimensions #4, #5, and #6 can be used to describe mentally related aspects of the universe while dimension #7 connects the two major categories of everything. Over the millennium, it has been generally thought that human beings were primarily viewed physical, but in recent decades it has become accepted that humans have a lot of mentally intellectually related characteristics too. The spiritual aspects of science may be based on electrical occurrences in the mind, but it is definitely more than physical action that occurs in the human being. Human beings are more than muscle and bones (at least, humans have the potential of being more then muscle and bones).

There is also the sixth dimension, which is defined in this school of thought as Knowledge. According to this school of thought, natural knowledge is stored in the long-term memory in the form of pictorial representations, and is present from day one in each person. This knowledge includes all of the unbiased knowledge patterns of all of the workings of the universe. Most of the knowledge is layered in form due to its interconnected nature. In human beings, knowledge can be realized, developed, and utilized in various methods of education discussed in greater detail in I-3. Mathematics is one manner of translating the knowledge that explains quantity and strength aspects of physical elements of the universe. Technology is a by-product of mathematics as well as the level of knowledge available to be attained or utilized by the individuals in a specific area that had been built upon other knowledge through time. As mathematics is an encyclopedia to the physical (third dimension) universe, the physical segments’ counterpart in the mental sphere of the universe can be used to solve problems arising in all of the dimensions of the universe within the scope of Natural Law. Mathematical explanations appear to be an obvious key to explaining the whys of our physical world. Education is a process of learning how to translate the patterns stored in the language of the mind into the language of one’s tongue, as per I-3.

The remaining dimension is utilized to describe the place of "God" in the universe. This is based upon the definition of God as the Creator of the universe, therefore, the power that can control the natural forces of the universe, which includes the mind to a degree. According to this school of thought, this control can be exercised either directly or indirectly. Also, any control that is exercised is done so within the framework of the natural patterns that exist, which is explained in greater detail in Book III.

These eight dimensions are all intertwined in one fashion or another. Since everything is relative to the frame of reference of the observer, it seems that the best way to show the interrelationships of everything in the universe is by symbolizing each dimension with a pyramid. Then place the six pyramids into the form of a cube as described in detail in the next chapter.

    Chapter Two

The Pyramid of Power of Everything: The Cube

AS WAS DESCRIBED in Chapter One, there are eight dimensions that contain the characteristics of everything in the universe. The seventh dimension is the coordination factor of the six dimensions and dimension zero is the position indicator in the symbolic conglomeration of everything.

When different methods of organization are compared, it is apparent that the most efficient structure is in the form of a pyramid because of the different numerous check points at which control (influence) can be exercised from the top, directly or indirectly. Common sense suggests that since defined God is a logically benevolent entity, the organizational architecture of the universe would be most efficiently structured with God being at a central pivotal location. If the characteristics of each dimension were organized in the form of a pyramid, then each dimension of defined God’s domain would be in the most efficient directional mode with God at the top. It is interesting that there were pyramids built in different parts of the world by various societies thousands of years ago, for reasons that are not fully understood.

Since there are quantifiable qualities in six of the eight dimensions, it seems most logical to symbolize each quantifiable dimension with a pyramid,
