About this ebook

As they entered the chamber, Jamie straightaway looked for the Faceless Beings, but there were no signs of them, only the shape of a Celestial Window materialising in one section of the chamber. Jamie stared into it, describing a blazing inferno around which several glowing hot objects were orbiting. In the gaseous matrix, solidifying masses were constantly bombarding the orbiting objects; each object absorbing the impacting fragments. Jamie and Vicky were spellbound, instinctively sensing they were witnessing the aftermath of a genesis; a divine snap-shot displaying the infant period in the creation of a planetary solar system in progress. Jamie and Vicky felt infinitesimal, humbled as witnesses to the Infinite One at work.

The Imperceptible Conflict
Author

Chris J Berry

Since writing the first of his books, the author’s main objective adheres to his plan to try and help the creatures and people of our planet. Gazing across the world, nothing seems to change, with conflict the continuing trend on earth. Societies descend into violent confrontation, with factions fragmenting into smaller dependencies rather than seek to unite the nations of our world. Global weather extremes continue to fuel humanitarian crises, destroy food harvests, and desecrate their crop areas. The theme of this twelfth project, The View from Infinity, the sixth in the series A Voyage to Infinity, seeks to expand on the author’s suppositions of what the life beyond offers in the previous books. The introductions in this series, the author hopes, will provide clues that ask us to view life logically and consider the transience of life, our inevitable exit from it, and what that means in terms of the material wealth we strive to generate. Considering those factors establishes one fact—that nothing in the material world belongs to anyone—and poses the question, which then is the real world? He persists in his belief that the demise facing humanity can only be addressed by a united world. Remaining dedicated toward our Maker’s doctrines, the author seeks to abide by his ten laws to guide his life.

    Introduction

THE FOURTH BOOK IN the ‘A Voyage to Infinity’ series ‘The Imperceptible Conflict’, offers a little more of my understanding of what my sources impress upon me lies beyond the material existence. Again they emphasise; to achieve any level of success in the great spiritual adventure depends on how we conduct ourselves while passing through the learning spheres. This topic provoked considerable output from my parents. With a discreet sense of urgency, they constantly warned me of unseen entities bent on exploiting a soul’s will: I touch upon this subject in the third book of my Cyannian Trilogy ‘Avataria’.

As I grew up, the idea of an invisible conflict, going on around us, was a topic I argued over fiercely with my parents. Showing no understanding of their explanation of the meaning of life, I was unable to rationalise what I felt were phantom points they raised in support of their arguments. Asking me to accept, on faith, there was an invisible link existing between the physical and spiritual dimensions, I felt at the time was to concede to fantasy: and to suggest that invisible entities were able to impose their wills on physical incarnates, I believed then, was pure fiction.

Contemplating the mood in our world today, I wonder. With many conflicts going on around us, and accepted that we enter this world in a state of profound innocence; on reflection, it is unnerving for me to admit now that perhaps attempts have been made to influence my most intimate of thoughts.

From my own observations, during the journey through infancy into adolescence, there appears to be a general need to satisfy childish, morbid desires in the young to persecute others; this again highlights the importance I have placed upon the parental role in previous books. As we mature, with the help and essential support from our parent hosts, life gradually comes into perspective. That said, the present, however, visits upon us a legacy that I believe has arisen from a general lack of parental discipline and past infant indulgence. In these modern times I feel, as a result of that legacy, we are witnessing acts of violence and disobedience in many facets of our societies.

Deliberating on the theme of the fantasies in my books, I wonder if we too are now heading for a showdown with the Supreme Being. It prompts me to pose this question; ‘is it not obvious to us all that the young are our investment for the future?’ To place huge demands on a family’s financial resources to educate their children seems to me to throw into question, not only theirs and their children’s future, but everyone else’s. Is it any wonder then that the young become unmotivated and lose their direction in life.

Turning to the topic of irritability in our world, if we seriously consider various Biblical transcripts, with a little thought we can equate most with modern-day lifestyles. Viewing it from a personal perspective, I feel that what appears to dominate humanity today leans towards, what I term as, the Barabbas solution; meet force with force. However misguided some may feel such methods may have been, I do not view them as premeditated acts of evil, as underlying the intent there seems a genuine desire to free people from tyranny. But on this point let our imagination run riot, and consider how another slant may be applied to this and similar examples. If we consider physical planes like Earth as venturing through the transitory phase of the lower spheres of learning, then differences of opinion in life offer new young souls, passing through these spheres, an opportunity to consider the benefits of rational arbitration, as opposed to conflict?

Viewing lifestyles across the world, I pause occasionally to contemplate my comfortable situation today. I reflect back on one particular question I posed to my parents, asking why it was the Maker allowed some to have so much, while others so little. Their answer at the time seemed illogical, implying I should make do with less and give more. It cut no ice with them when I responded with the blind argument, that it would not serve poor peoples’ cause if we descended into poverty ourselves.

Visualising their penetrating gazes then, now raises feelings of guilt in me now when I sit down to a wholesome meal, pop down to the shop or hear the jingle of money in my purse. On reflection, their answer, I believe now, highlighted my complacent attitude that took for granted my situation in a rich society. Now as we enter an uncertain future, I cannot suppress the increasing feeling; that similar to the hypothetical civilisations in my books, the richer facets of our civilisation may be heading for meagre times.

The flagging monetary systems around the world cause people to pressure their governments into sorting out the problems, and yet, they continue to place increasing demands on their country’s dwindling, financial resources. As we hover on the edge of this symbolic abyss, could the possible threat of our civilisation foundering cause us to unite and pull back— Earth’s past is littered with those who have failed to do so.

The ideas put in this book relate to the usual issues plaguing our world, but now viewed from the Celestial perspective. It will, I hope, reveal a little of the promise I believe our Maker offers those who lead compassionate and conscientious lives. Whether that statement labels me as dreamer is unimportant, but I freely admit, now, that what my parents spent their lives teaching me has finally hit the mark. Having developed an intuitive link with those beyond, the impression I receive from them confirms in me that my parents’ teachings were close to the truth…CJB.

    Preface

IN THIS FOURTH BOOK, of the Voyage to Infinity series, I explore the physical life from the Celestial perspective. Working with their spiritual colleagues, the proven souls on the higher physical planes continue the task of seeding and monitoring new worlds. In the opening chapter of The Imperceptible Conflict Vicky and Jamie, as members of the Infinite One’s legions, deliberate on their imminent incarnation onto a higher physical plane. On Avataria, one of the worlds the governing spirit, Tristram is guardian over, they sense a life where there is no conflict, no disease, and destined to share a companionship that is united in a common cause they never experienced on the lower planes. As they await the moment of their incarnation, they are rejoined by past companions, marvelling at how their spiritual fraternity has expanded— passionately aware they will never be parted from them again.

Gazing down through the Celestial Window, they perceive Tristram’s Earthenian fleet of motherships, thrilling in the knowledge they will voyage upon them to monitor new worlds as part of the Infinite One’s Celestial, Legions. Paused there in the Spiritual life, Vicky and Jamie sense the real world of spirit begin to open up; access to the universe, no longer imposing any limitations on them. Now as proven souls, they are able to contemplate the extent of the invisible conflict existing between good and evil; view a Celestial Horizon that reveals a new incarnate soul’s future plan on a lower physical plane.

Nothing is hidden from spiritual eyes; acts of compassion, benevolence, aggression and wickedness yielding just rewards to the architects of those deeds. Proven souls like Vicky and Jamie, together with their spiritual contemporaries, will compete for the wills of the young incarnate souls, and how it will fall to those like them to apply the physical aspect of any spiritual directive. As they take up the challenge, they sense how the exhilaration of voyaging through the beauty of the universe will help them to bear the heart-rending scenes they will witness on newly seeded worlds.

As they begin their Celestial period on Avataria, they sense their first destination to be a young world in a galaxy far away in the outer reaches of the cosmos. Tristram’s Earthenian fleet prepare to voyage to this newly seeded world where the unseen dark entities have been at work. The demise that threatens this world is familiar to Vicky and Jamie, and though incarnated in the physical aspect of the Celestial Dimension, know they will have to suppress their feelings to cope with all manner of injustice there…CJB.

    CHAPTER ONE

    CELESTIAL ENTITIES

    ~1~

GAZING DOWN THROUGH THE Celestial Window onto Avataria, Vicky and Jamie pondered the fourth phase of their voyage to infinity. Gathered around them were the souls who had played their part in their previous incarnate lives. Beginning his briefing, Tristram revealed that by the Infinite One’s decree, no path on the same lower physical plane could be travelled upon twice— reincarnation only at His discretion.

Tristram explained how millions of years ago on his world Earth, special souls had been needed to meet particular threats. Those threats to humanity had been posed by ruthless spirits who had submitted their wills and allegiance to the dark influence; much suffering resulting from their evil intent. But the special souls, who had been reincarnated to bear the brunt of those inhumane acts, were now rewarded— safe in the security of the Infinite One’s Eternal Land.

Tristram went on to counsel his newly appointed legions on the task ahead, reminding them of the divine plan that had run its course on millions of worlds since the beginning of time. Vicky and Jamie, now poised to enter their first higher physical plane, gazed around at the smiling faces; picking out Sasha and Sophie with their partners. The sense of companionship was worlds away from what they had experienced during the incarnate periods they had spent on the lower planes.

Inevitably their eyes fell upon Molly’s and her partner’s smiling faces. Molly gazed down at her beloved creatures milling around her— a sense of such love for them emanating from her. It confirmed how the Infinite One had left no soul, be it creature or otherwise, to muddle on alone. Charging angelic souls like Molly to care for His animal kingdom out in His universe, her creatures had become possessive of her presence, fearing nothing while under her care.

Standing with Sasha, Sophie and their partners was a radiant Anna, Tim and Sammy, with an unfamiliar but beautiful soul standing next to Sammy; Vicky and Jamie sensing her to be his companion. They gazed at them, mesmerized by the serenity of their countenance. Sammy had taken over on Sanctus soon after Sasha and Sophie had made their transitions. The impression, Vicky and Jamie was getting from them now, was of two immensely experienced spirits.

Tristram sensed Vicky’s and Jamie’s intrigue as he joined them. You may remember that as your first incarnation on Orburn drew to a close, one soul stood out among others, charged by the Infinite One to help lead that world up into the Celestial Realm… Tristram smiled at the incredulous expressions on their faces, and nodded slowly. Samuel, as he was also known then, has long since completed his Voyage to Infinity. He, and his companion Julianne, are set to oversee the completion of the Universal Technology on Sanctus in readiness to seed a new world… As Antron and the Cyannian fleet helped me lead the people of Earth up into the Celestial Realm, so it will fall to my Earthenian fleet and I to help Samuel and Julianne lead the people on Sanctus.

Then, assumed Jamie. Samuel is destined to become the guardian of a newly seeded world.

Tristram nodded. And of many new worlds; overseeing them into the Celestial Realm as I, and many before me, have done.

Vicky and Jamie revelled in this new atmosphere where free-will played no part; every soul there focused on the doctrines of the Infinite One. As proven souls, successfully negotiating their physical trials, they had gone beyond the reaches of the Evil One and his minions. As part of the Infinite One’s legions now, it was the task of His proven souls to help others; especially virgin spirits emerging from the Hallowed Sanctum, and failed souls humbly seeking another chance. The Infinite One’s door was always open; His boundless wisdom and perception able to sense a spirit’s genuine bid for forgiveness.

    ~2~

Vicky’s and Jamie’s incarnation onto the higher physical plane, Avataria, would take place by the procedure known only to the Infinite One. Once on Avataria, their spiritual guides, and parent hosts, would mentor them through the period of infancy, adolescence, and finally into adulthood. During this period, they would become aware of the new role they were to take on in the Infinite One’s divine plan. With no barrier between the higher physical planes and spiritual dimension, guidance and support were always available.

The logistics of these assignments, on the higher physical planes, posed no threat to proven souls. Following directives from the world of spirit, it represented an exciting task; taking in the breathtaking sights of the universe while travelling the cosmos to many different worlds. Adhering to the will of the Infinite One, together with their spiritual companions, souls like Vicky and Jamie could apply the knowledge they had gained on the lower planes. During these Celestial incarnations, secure in the divine motherships of the Infinite One’s Universal Technology, The Infinite One’s Celestial Souls voyaged across the universe undetected, discreetly carrying out the material aspects of His directives.

Once the primordial soup had dressed new worlds with the flora and fauna to support life, the seeding of these worlds could begin. As a lower physical plane ascended to the Celestial Realm, the Universal Technology could be released to its inhabitants, and the continuation of the Infinite One’s divine plan gain momentum there. Once a successful soul returned to the spiritual dimension, it sensed that to be part of this plan was the reward for its allegiance to the Infinite One. The doctrines, governing life out in the multi-dimensions of the Infinite One’s universe, revealed to each new proven soul— there was so much more to come: that what this first experience heralded, was an infinitesimal part of the Infinite One’s gift for a soul’s piety.

Vicky embraced Jamie’s aura; her face radiant with excitement. Dear One, we mustn’t fail our Lord, she sensed into him.

How can we, with such support, he replied.

Jamie’s spiritual guides Sarah and John approached, impressing upon them that as Celestial companions now, Vicky’s guides, Joseph and Andrea, were now part of the team beyond. This continually expanding alliance had significantly increased Vicky’s and Jamie’s power, as the time approached for their transitions down onto Avataria. John assured them there would be no loss of contact with past friends, only when, like they were now, their kindred companions left on their own assignments. But even then, during those periods, Vicky and Jamie would be aware of the bond that had been struck with them during past incarnations.

Jamie smiled as his gaze fell upon Sam and Kenny. In that moment he felt Vicky and he had not seen the last of them. Somewhere in the Celestial future there paths would combine again; an inevitable, joyous reunion when, on that memorable occasion, they all reached the end of their Voyage to Infinity.

As each of the proven souls were joined by their spiritual guides, they sensed the beginning of their transitions down to Avataria. There was no feeling of the unknown in Vicky and Jamie now; aware of what was required of them, remaining dedicated in their allegiance to the Infinite One.

    CHAPTER TWO

    ELYSIUM CHILDREN

    ~1~

VICKY AND JAMIE, REFLECTING on their previous incarnations spent on the lower physical planes, realised that the journey through childhood on the higher plane of Avataria had been markedly different. Similar to all physical planes, infancy to adolescence had been a period used to educate the young. As Elysium Children (children born into a blessed world), they were gradually made aware of their tasks as soon as they were able to think for themselves. While growing up, they naturally drew upon the knowledge they had accrued from past incarnate experiences; their intellects reaching maturity well before entering their teenage period.

While venturing through the primary years into adolescence, Vicky and Jamie had soon been reunited, recognising the bond that had been setup between them during their previous incarnations. As they entered their teenage they both passed into the next phase of their preparatory education, involving interim voyages on the Infinite One’s Universal Technology. On these inaugural voyages, they would initially be chaperoned by both Vicky’s and Jamie’s spiritual guides. This phase concluded their induction period on their Celestial World, after which they would begin to sense directives from the divine source.

It was the week before they were due to embark upon their first voyage that John approached them, elaborating on the brief excursions they were going on around their galaxy Exalta. John sensed the excitement in Vicky and Jamie; especially Jamie; excited at the prospect of voyaging for the first time as a proven soul on the Universal Technology. What John told them next however, eclipsed even the gravity of that, and the beauty they would witness on these inaugural journeys— their imagination boggled by his description of that final voyage.

When these introductory voyages are complete, you will be taken on one last journey into Galactica Eternal where the spiritual incarnations of proven worlds rest in the presence of the Infinite One. John paused, seeming to dwell on the divine image of what he was describing. He gazed at them as he continued. After voyaging with the Earthenian fleet, under the direction of Tristram, you, and other new proven souls, will be taken to his Celestial Earth. There you will witness one of millions of worlds whose inhabitants united in the Infinite One’s name, and finally took their world up into His Celestial Realm.

John went on to relate how this insight had to be earned, as it inevitably revealed what awaited successful spirits. Such knowledge, made available before a soul had reached proven status, would create shallow spiritual characters, whose loyalty to the Infinite One could undoubtedly become overpowered by the desire for eternal life. For any unproven soul venturing out onto the higher Celestial planes, void of the lessons learnt on the lower planes, they would lack the essential knowledge and commitment needed to conscientiously follow the Infinite One’s doctrines.

John’s expression softened as he gazed at Vicky and Jamie. Only one soul has fallen from the Galactica Eternal Realm. Vicky and Jamie nodded, intuitively aware of the soul he was referring to. But I sense in you both, that once your Voyage to Infinity is complete your incarnate experiences will have revealed their true value, ready for when you to take your place in Galactica Eternal.

It was obvious to Vicky and Jamie that even after past successes, their spiritual guides were leaving nothing to chance; seizing every opportunity to counsel them on the gravity of this new venture. As had been the case with their guides, on their first incarnate period on a Celestial World, they knew Vicky and Jamie would be affected by the persecution and misery of the innocents on the lower planes. Just like he, Sarah, Joseph and Andrea then, Vicky and Jamie, now, wanted everyone to succeed. But as one journeyed on into the Celestial future, the simplicity of the Infinite One’s plan for life revealed itself, bringing into perspective how a spirit’s success could only be achieved through experience, and its pious acts.

    ~2~

The following morning Vicky and Jamie rose early, treated to a sunrise they had long since become accustomed to. The climate on Avataria varied like any other world, but was managed conscientiously, resulting in its stable environment and ecology. Jamie peered up out through the window at the paling sky, just able to make out the orbiting motherships tracking across it. He gazed back at Vicky, showing signs of awakening.

The voice of John drifted into Jamie’s mind. When Vicky and you are risen and fed, make your way to the departure port to join your transporter. John’s words sent a bolt of excitement through Jamie on the prospect.

Both Jamie and Vicky had taken leave of their parent hosts the week before, journeying to the transporter port for a final briefing before transferring to the Cosmos Departure Centre. Earlier in the week, while travelling up, Vicky and Jamie had reflected on and discussed this last phase of their education. On the lower planes it had been revealed that people used only a small portion of their brain capacity; what was available to them now was confirming that hypothesis. Their minds had suddenly opened up; able to call up past incarnate experiences gained on the lower physical planes to use on the higher plane. The Evil One’s minion influence was absent, confirming to them how this factor was the source of disruption on the lower planes. On the higher planes, the bonds had been set between partners, and where the onus naturally fell upon souls to carry out the Infinite One’s plan unquestioningly.

Jamie sensed Vicky paused by his side, peering around his shoulder to gaze out the window at the beauty of the sunrise.

Everything is ready for our departure, My Heart, she whispered; I saw to that last night.

He smiled, lifting his face toward the heavens. We’ll be up there soon, Vicky; his voice breaking with emotion.

Oh, Jamie, she sighed. This is just the beginning; our first proven incarnation. When I think of how easy it could’ve been to submit to the call of the dark influence. During our journeys across the lower planes…, we would’ve lost all…

Jamie shook his head abruptly. Don’t even think of it, Vicky… He looked back out the window. This is what the Infinite One promises all souls who follow Him…; the opportunity to achieve, and the prospect of a fulfilled eternal life available to everyone. Turning from the window, Jamie slipped his arm around Vicky’s shoulders. Come, Dear One, we have to make our way to the port to catch the transporter… He grinned at her; his face flushed with excitement. We don’t want to miss that now— do we?

She smiled studiously. I see that some aspects of your past incarnate experiences still surface in you, My Heart.

He tapped his nose and winked at her. Ah! But there’s a difference now; it’s for the Infinite One.

"It’s always been for the Infinite One as far as we’ve been concerned," she added pointedly.

    "You
