Being introverted - or extroverted for arguments sake - is all about how you process information and where you get your energy. One is no more a character flaw or handicap than the other. Put simply, introverts recharge their batteries by being alone while extroverts recharge theirs by socializing.
Introverts are like a rechargeable battery. They need to stop expending energy and rest in order to recharge. Extroverts are like solar panels that need the sun to recharge. Extroverts need to be out and about to refuel.
~ Marti Olsen Laney
