      INTRODUCTION

      AIRBNB QUICKLY BECAME a billion-dollar platform based on a simple concept of allowing individuals to rent residential properties for short durations. But what you may not realize is that in doing so, Airbnb indirectly opened a need for tools and services to support this massive movement.

      For many homeowners with full time jobs, renting  their home or room on Airbnb is their side hustle. For others its proven to be full-time work. But for entrepreneurs like me, Airbnb has opened up a doorway to get creative, launch exciting side-business ventures and pursue new passions, all while generating steady streams of income, without having to rent a room.

      I know, this sounds like a infomercial for Airbnb. But the reality is, Airbnb changed my life. I started out renting a room on Airbnb, then my entire home, then I started consulting friends and family how they could do it. After that I got my real estate license and started selling investors homes and teaching them how to get set up as rental entrepreneurs. It was only a matter of time before I realized the need for all the many other services within this arena.

      Airbnb has made my life as an entrepreneur so much easier bringing clients right to my doorstep at the click of a button, literally. I can truly say it has allowed me to enjoy the ride more and expand my business ventures in ways I only dreamed. It has become a passion worth pursuing. So, if you are one of those people still looking for your dream job, sorting out your next steps to get closer to a career you’re passionate about or desperate for supplemental income, short-term rentals might just be your solution. Read on to find out, step by step, all of the ways I’ve successfully diversified and capitalized on the fastest growing industry in the sharing economy.

      Side Hustle 1: Start an Airbnb cleaning service

      DECADES AGO, CLEANING businesses only served wealthy individuals who didn’t want to be disturbed with the tedious work of housekeeping and had enough cash to pay professionals to clean for them. These days, however, the market no longer includes only wealthy families but also people of all demographics worldwide. The cleaning business is a fast-growing billion-dollar business, and starting one costs little to no money. Today, cleaning Airbnb homes is one of the easier ways to make money on the side! It’s also a full-time business and many cleaners can earn more each month than a co-host property manager.
