      Anna: Ah, meno male, credevo di avere sbagliato indirizzo! Sì, è vero, è ancora molto presto. Ti dispiace se aspetto qui con te?

      Alberto: Certo che no, accomodati. Piacere, io sono Alberto.

      Anna: Grazie mille. Mi chiamo Anna, il piacere è tutto mio. Non vedo l'ora che inizi il corso di yoga. Sono molto curiosa di vedere come è.

      Alberto: È la prima volta che fai yoga?

      Anna: Sì. Ultimamente credo di essere un po' stressata a causa del lavoro. Un'amica mi ha consigliato di provare a rilassarmi con un corso di yoga.

      Alberto: Come hai trovato questo corso?

      Anna: Ho trovato un volantino in un negozio del quartiere. Ero entrata a comprare il pane. Il volantino era appeso in una bacheca dove gli abitanti del quartiere inseriscono annunci. Anche per te è la prima volta con lo yoga?

      Alberto: Non esattamente. Pratico yoga da quasi trenta anni. Sono l'istruttore.

      Anna: Scusami! Pensavo fossi un alunno del corso. Non avevo capito che eri l'istruttore.

      Alberto: Figurati, non è un problema, non ti preoccupare. Sono molto contento di avere già conosciuto una mia alunna.

      Anna: Anche io sono molto contenta di avere già conosciuto il mio istruttore.

      Alberto: Guarda, stanno arrivando anche altri alunni. Ora possiamo entrare in palestra.

      The yoga course

      Anna: Good morning. Excuse me, can I ask you a question?

      Alberto: Call me by name, please.

      Anna: Oh, all right, let's call us by name, even I prefer it! Are you here for the yoga class too?

      Alberto: Yes, but I arrived early. The appointment was at eight and there are still twenty minutes left.

      Anna: I found a flyer in a neighborhood store. I went there to buy some bread. The flyer was hung in a bulletin board where the inhabitants of the neighborhood enter ads. Is it your first time with yoga too?

      Alberto: Not exactly. I have been practicing yoga for almost thirty years. I'm the instructor.

      Anna: Excuse me! I thought you were a student of the course. I did not understand you were the instructor.

      Alberto: It's not a problem, do not worry. I am very happy to have already met one of my pupils.

      Anna: I am also very happy to have already met my instructor.

      Alberto: Look, other students are coming too. Now we can enter the gym.

      Giulia: Buongiorno signor Raffaele.

      Raffaele: Buongiorno signora Giulia. Come sta oggi?

      Giulia: Così così. Mi sento un po' raffreddata. Sarà la stagione.

      Raffaele: Mi dispiace molto. È venuta a fare la spesa?

      Giulia: Certamente, come ogni lunedì.

      Raffaele: Cosa le do oggi di buono?

      Giulia: Per cominciare vorrei della frutta. Cosa mi consiglia?

      Raffaele: Arance, naturalmente. Le faranno bene alla salute.

      Raffaele: Capisco. Allora le do questa varietà. Sono buonissime da mangiare a tavola. Vuole anche dei mandarini?

      Giulia: Sì, grazie. Ma li vorrei dolci e senza semi.

      Raffaele: Un chilo va bene?

      Giulia: Sì, grazie. Vorrei anche della frutta per mia figlia che non ama gli agrumi.

      Raffaele: Abbiamo dell'uva freschissima appena arrivata. A sua figlia piace l'uva?

      Raffaele: La preferisce bianca o nera?

      Giulia: Bianca, grazie. Vorrei anche delle mele. Mio figlio le porta a scuola per la merenda.

      Raffaele: Ci sono queste mele rosse molto dolci e queste verdi un po' aspre.

      Giulia: A mio figlio piacciono le mele aspre. Me ne dia una dozzina, grazie.

      La stampante non funziona - The printer does not work

      Simone: Pronto, Cristina? Ti disturbo?

      Cristina: Ciao Simone. Dimmi.

      Simone: Ho un problema con la stampante. Hai cinque minuti?

      Cristina: Sì, certo. Sono qui per questo.

      Simone: Credo che la mia stampante sia rotta.

      Cristina: Perché?

      Simone: Fino a ieri funzionava benissimo. Questa mattina sono tornato in ufficio, ho acceso il computer come sempre, ma la stampante non funziona più.

      Cristina: Hai provato a stampare qualcosa?

      Simone: Sì. Dovevo stampare i risultati degli esami di ieri. Sono solo dieci pagine in bianco e nero. Ho aperto il documento, l'ho mandato in stampa, ma non è successo niente.

      Cristina: Il cavo della stampante è collegato al computer?

      Simone: Sì, è collegato al computer. Ho controllato subito perché ricordavo che una volta il problema era quello.

      Cristina: Sì, lo ricordo anche io. Hai provato a premere di nuovo il pulsante di accensione della stampante?

      Simone: Sì, ci ho provato più di una volta, ma non è successo niente. Ho provato anche a premere gli altri pulsanti ma non succede niente.

      Cristina: Che significa che non succede niente?

      Simone: Significa che sembra tutto spento. Nessun pulsante funziona.

      Cristina: Capisco. Prova a controllare il cavo di alimentazione della stampante. È collegato alla presa di corrente nel muro?

      Simone: Attendi in linea, controllo subito.

      Lucia: In metropolitana è facile. La fermata della metropolitana è in questa piazza davanti a noi. Scendi quelle scale. Devi prendere la linea che va in direzione della stazione Termini. A Termini devi cambiare, prendere la linea B e scendere dopo poche fermate. Hai già un biglietto?

      Carlo: No, non ancora. Sai dirmi dove posso comprarne uno?

      Lucia: Sì, nella stazione della metropolitana troverai delle macchine automatiche per acquistare il biglietto.

      Carlo: Capisco, ma non ho monete con me. Sai se è possibile comprare un biglietto anche da qualche altra parte?

      Lucia: Sì, certo. Vedi questo negozio dietro di noi? È un tabaccaio. Lì troverai anche i biglietti per la metropolitana e potrai pagarli come vuoi.

      Carlo: Un'ultima domanda: quanto tempo ci vuole più o meno per arrivare al Colosseo in metropolitana?

      Lucia: Ci vogliono circa trenta minuti.

      Carlo: Degli amici mi aspettano alle quattro davanti al Colosseo. Credi che farò in tempo?

      Lucia: Sì, credo che se ti sbrighi puoi arrivare in tempo al tuo appuntamento.

      Carlo: Sei stata molto gentile.

      Lucia: Yes, of course. See this store behind us? It's a tobacconist. There you will also find tickets for the subway and you can pay them as you wish.

      Carlo: One last question: how long does it take to get to the Colosseum by subway?

      Lucia: It takes about thirty minutes.
