      Wow ok. I did NOT like the hero Tobias AT ALL. I thought he was a total prick who was selfish, rude and down right cold. His reasoning behind acting that way
      Was BS. I get that it would affect you but that’s no excuse to treat people like they mean nothing. What a tool. So why the 3 stars? It comes down to the fact that I enjoy the authors writing and the heroine was alright. I was tempted to give it 2 stars but opted for the higher one just due to the author.

      This has a similar sort of dynamic as the first book in the series. The leads must mary after being compromised, the hero spends 85% of the book getting in the way of his own happiness, the heroine has kind of a naive outlook on the world. It's just not my favorite setup. As that dynamic goes though, I think this was done pretty well. These are still my least favorite two books of the 7 I've read by this author, (but they're still 3 stars, so that says something).
