Colonel Hill is called for help, “The best I can do is send four fully armed fighters to destroy the entire block. You had better figure at least three-square blocks.”
Will the Colonel have a plan to disable every car with electric shock?
What can Detective Rage do to help?
Have the rouge cars figured out a way to escape from the blockade Jones and the police have set up? What will happen if they get to the freeway?

    Chapter 1 The Accident

Jones is out on patrol. It has been a slow day with the sun shining. In Seattle, any sunshine is a lot.

Over the radio, Accident at 4150 1st avenue south. Unconfirmed reports of multiple cars.

He flips on his lights, Patrolman Jones, car SC1438 here, I am a mile from the accident traveling south on 1st.

Dispatch hears the unbelief in his voice, A newer truck has started up and just rammed a car up on the sidewalk. He is backing up and going to hit another car. Both have people in them. He is now backup up again and going to ram another car in the north bound lanes.

I have my shotgun; he is not going to ram any more cars.

The dashboard camera is recording all the collisions.

Jones starts toward the truck, when it squeals around and points straight at him. His mike is open; the driver is slouched over the steering wheel, Here he comes.

Jones holds his position until the last second. He fakes right and goes left. The truck runs over the spot on his right where he faked, he would have been. Jones unloads four rounds into the side of the pickup’s engine compartment. The truck slides to a stop and starts to back up toward him. The tires are smoking, trying to get traction.

Jones fires the last three rounds into the back tires which does not seems to slow down the truck. This was more than a brush but less than a hit. Jones comes up out of the roll with his Colt pounding the engine compartment. The motor sputters, coughs, and finally dies 30-feet from
