    The most mysterious creatures of all are the Shapeshifters, who lived in and around the Riverview Hotel beginning in Victorian times, when the hotel was still Lady Agatha’s summer mansion. The only known surviving Shapeshifter is Jake, the hotel’s ruggedly handsome driver and handyman.
    Shapeshifters are like the psychologists of the paranormal world. Jake has the power to probe deeply into the subconscious minds of the hotel’s guests, where he uncovers their most urgent and hidden desires. He then changes his shape to become whatever or whoever they need to finally get those long-buried desires fulfilled. When guests come to the Riverview Hotel and encounter Jake, their lives will never be the same again.
    Clarissa returns to the Riverview Hotel to film the pilot for the second season of the hit show Creepy Corners, a soap opera about a clan of vampires. She’s still turned on by her co-star, who is also her ex-boyfriend, and even more turned on by Jake, the hotel’s resident Shapeshifter. When the three of them go off together to the attic in search of a missing prop, something unexpected happens.
