Chalk Circle Writers

In October 2017, a handful of Sussex-based writers began meeting for mutual support and encouragement, writes Danielle Sensier

Chalk Circle Writers critiqued each other’s work, exchanged writing tips and with the help of talented guest authors, ran their own workshops. Looking to broaden its horizons the group decided on a bold new step: to become a small-scale publisher of short fiction.

In 2018, Chalk. A second anthology is due for publication in the late autumn with artwork by acclaimed Illustrator of the Year, John Vernon Lord, renowned for his work on iconic album covers, children’s books and dystopian fairy tales.
