      The purpose of this document is to help give everyone the confidence that they need to start a business and succeed. Many people are afraid to start their own business because they are afraid of failing. They are afraid to lose money.

      The Science of Business will relate business to the laws of nature which are immutable laws. When we see clearly how business functions, based on the laws of nature, then we see that by applying these laws to business, we know that we cannot fail. The purpose of this document is to give the reader the faith, the confidence in their own business, so that more businesses will be created. The more businesses that are created in this world, the more technology increases, driving the cost of living down to zero and making everyone on earth rich and successful.

      In the world of free enterprise in the future ahead of us, everyone will own their own business and everyone will take 100% responsibility and be happy at what they are doing. Everyone will be fully integrated in the advancing of society.

      This means once we hear the nitty gritty details of how the Laws of Nature work; we can have positive knowledge of nature and ourselves and have the self-confidence to do anything.

      CHAPTER 1:

      What Is True Power and Success

      A lot of people don’t really know what true power and success really are. Everyone wants power. Most of us believe that power is the key to happiness and success. Whatever the specifics and the state of the rest of the world the powerful seem to have the perfect life, the perfect career, and the perfect love mate. Some people think power is something that you are born with or gained by being lucky. This is not so.

      The lack of power isn’t because we aren’t good enough, smart enough or strong enough. It comes from the lack of knowledge. Once you have mastered the knowledge in this document, you will be one of the powerful to create your happiness, success, and your own future.

      First let’s talk about what power is not. Today, many modern images through media present to us false views of what power is. For example, Harvard and Ivy League educations, large family inheritances, good looks, brute strength and fierce intelligence. We believe if we don’t have these things, we are powerless. It also seems that anyone who is powerful has been blessed with one of these advantages. This is not true; otherwise we might as well not go any further in this document.

      Now it is true that wealthy parents, good looks and health are helpful and that many powerful people have these things. But these things are not the keys to success.

      There are many highly educated people who hate their jobs and can’t meet their bills. There are also good looking people who complain about how bad they look and constantly complain about their love lives. These people may have these advantages but they are not powerful. To be powerful is to be happy. Having enormous wealth, an influential family or the best looks is not power. People who live by taking are not powerful. People who inherit or win the lottery by luck are not powerful. These things do not bring happiness. Power which is happiness is brought on by definitive action. By producing values, by giving and regiving, is power, which I will tell more about in the next section.

      All living beings have certain needs. Those basic needs are food, shelter and warmth. We are the same as animals in this nature, but conscious beings have other desires. Those desires are love, wealth, good health, status and happiness. We have to satisfy those desires in order to want to live. Conscious beings search for happiness. It is one of our necessities in the same way that animals search for the needs to their survival. Just like a cat would hunt and capture its prey, humans must find happiness. This is a dream that we must fulfill.

      Everyone dreams to have power. This is not hard to fulfill. The problem is figuring out how to turn these dreams into reality. Power comes from action, for every action has a reaction. Everything is cause and effect. If you know what you are doing and why you are doing it, and what the results will be, you can accomplish your goal.

      To succeed, one must be committed to being honest to oneself. Know who you are and what you can really do. Make sure you know what you want is as clear as possible. This means that one must know the world, no matter how beautiful it is things might not go as you would like when working toward your goals. At times you will have to overcome resistance, recognize the problem and ask yourself what you can do or can’t do to solve the problem, since you are the master of your destiny.

      The best way to be honest with yourself is to get an idea of the way the world functions and how you fit in. The more you know about how the world functions, the better your chances of success.

      Another tool to success is to develop a powerful self-image. This might seem difficult, but knowing how easily it can be attained will be shown in this document.

      One thing people need to know is that there is no success without failure. We learn from our mistakes. If we are too afraid of making them, we will be afraid to act and without action, nothing happens.

      Instead of dwelling on mistakes, use them to your advantage. What you learn from your mistakes can feed your determination. With every mistake you make, you learn something new. For one, you learn what actions work or won’t work for you.

      The key to success is determination, self-confidence, awareness and preparation. The biggest key to success is to live life according to your dreams. This is what’s behind every successful business owner, famous artist, etc. One must have a meaningful and singular purpose in life. That meaningful purpose is to produce values. All successful people become successful because they wanted to contribute something to society, not because they wanted to make a million bucks. If one doesn’t have a goal, then once you have the million bucks, then what do you do? You would need a new goal to move toward. Temporary goals, the satisfaction and sense of success can only last so long. The purpose should last a lifetime, which is most likely where your happiness lies. Happiness is only achieved from a meaningful, productive life by producing values for oneself and others. Producing values for oneself and others is the product of giving and regiving, which I will talk about more in the next chapter. One can succeed by developing a true and singular purpose of life. You will learn how to develop this sense of purpose.

      The important thing to know about success is that becoming powerful doesn’t happen overnight. All self-leaders have taken some time and hard work to get where they are. They know that instant power is just an illusion. Real power must be developed and maintained carefully. Just like an artist’s painting, a masterpiece must be developed with precise planning and with love.

      We do not have time to complain or use self-pity on the way to success. Those who are destined for success avoid those who can’t handle hard work. We do not have time for foolish risks. Anything that promises instant wealth is either too risky, illegal or false. These things only
