Merry Christmas!

With carols blasting out the speakers, baubles dangling everywhere, elves scurrying around, and a bigstar Ngahuia Piripi having a hangi on December 25, but I’m hoping to squeeze in a couple of swims and maybe even a bushwalk before a big family lunch with my dad’s famous corned beef salad – fingers crossed for sun so we can sit outside! The rule at my parents’ place (enforced by me) is that we only open presents while listening to Boney M’s , which usually segues into all their ’70s disco classics. I mean, nothing screams “season’s greetings” like and , right? Enjoy our special festive issue and good luck with the holiday prep!
