Introduction
When making the decision to start learning to play music, specifically that of the piano and/or keyboard, we tend to not know where the best point is to begin. We may be told that YouTube videos are the best place to begin, or that books provide more detail. However, books are too text-heavy, with not enough visual images and diagrams. We tend to forget that many people are visual learners, leading to a quicker learning process when diagrams are included. Music books that are text-heavy are too complex for beginners, as well as being too mundane for the experienced. They lack the presence of lesson plans, which hold a novice musician accountable for their progress. Often, explanations are not included in text-heavy books, leading to a bout of confusion being established that harbors the ability to fully grasp the music knowledge, as well as to progress as a musician.
