Running across the grass, I giggled to myself. I was about four years old, and Mum had taken me to the park to play.
Suddenly, I noticed I wasn’t alone – there was a big black dog looking at me. It wasn’t wearing a collar. As I looked over at it, it growled, a menacing noise in the back of its throat.
Scared, I screamed and started running – but to my terror, the dog gave chase.
I ran up to a wall and cowered back as the dog advanced towards me...
