About this ebook

An economist and financial expert reveals the wealth of opportunities to profit from one of today’s most important commodities.

David Morgan draws on his decades of experience as a private economist and background in engineering to demonstrate why silver is an ideal asset for any investment portfolio. The supply and demand fundamentals are so overwhelming that anyone with a basic understanding of economics will see the wisdom in silver investing.

Morgan debunks some of the persistent myths about silver, including the notion that digital photography will ruin the market. He also examines how silver is traded on the commodities exchanges. As the first form of money mentioned in the Bible, it remains synonymous with money in many languages. Now Morgan shows you how to tape into this age-old asset.

Although the basic premise of Buy low, Sell high certainly applies here, it is a good study of human nature on how few actually apply this basic principle. When our work first appeared on the Internet nearly six months went by before we received even one inquiry. At that time silver was at an all time low adjusted for inflation. Although a screaming buy hardly anyone was paying attention. Silver on an inflation adjusted basis is still at a very low price, and in our view the precious metals markets are in the second phase or leg-up where the gains will still be very favorable.

Most investors don’t pay attention to silver; if someone discusses precious metals most people turn their attention to gold. However, unlike gold or oil, there are no Big Players like central banks or OPEC in the silver market. This is important because there is no big overhang of supply that can enter the market and suppress the price. There may be a possible exception here because Warren Buffett, arguably one of the world’s best investors did purchase 129.7 million ounces of silver bullion in
