SENTINEL IDENTIFIED

With regard to the unidentified Sentinal on page 39 of the issue: 367. The book An Album of ‘Sentinel’ Works Photographs No. 1 Standards & Supers is a good source of identifying Sentinel waggons providing you have the road registration number.
The waggon in the photo appears to have the number V 436, the book tells us this is Sentinel No. 134, new in 1907 to the Truro Gas Co in Cornwall. It has two later owners, G. Lawrenson, Bootle, Lancashire and Porthia China Clay Co Ltd of St.Ives, Cornwall. It’s history ends there. There is no mention of Beaver Mills.
