How to Use the I Can Booklet


The Common Core Standards are the skills all kindergarteners should be learning throughout the year. Students will be evaluating and reflecting on their progress twice this year. This booklet only includes the Reading and Math Common Core Standards. Evaluating: The following marks will be used to fill out the charts on the pages in this booklet. The students will circle the symbol that represents their level of mastery. Meets Standard Needs Improvement

Two times a year students complete the reflection page. On this page students draw a picture about a specific time, example, or piece of work that celebrates a standard they have mastered. Students may also set goals for improvement.
