Dear President-elect Obama:
I would like to congratulate you on your presidency for the
United States. I think you have everything it takes and will
make a great president. Also, congratulations on making
history as the first African-American president. Even
though the economy is in one of it’s worse times, I believe
that you can fix it. Your war plan is great, and I really hope
it all works out. Thank you for all that you’ ve done and all
that you will do. Hopefully, my class will be able to go to
he inaguration, and see you sworn in as president. I
appreciate you taking the time to read this letter. Best
wishes on running our country, and happy holidays.

Dear President-Elect Obama:
T.am very enthusiastic about you becoming our next president of the United States.
Throughout the entire presidential election, I believed thoroughly that you were
the right guy for the job. Congratulations on becoming the first African-American
president in the United States. It must be an honor to be the one creating history.
You had every view on life better than Senator McCain, and my family believed that
Joe Biden was a much better, organized leader than Sarah Palin. First, I have
always hated war because of all the families suffering without their loved ones. We
definitely share the same opinion on this topic. Second, the economy is ina
recession, which needs to be fixed immediately. You seem to agree with me along
with the world on the money topic in changing it. My family and T believe in you to
become a great president and to lead our great country towards better times.
Finally, you lowering healthcare costs are literally saving my grandparents’ lives.
They don't have all the money in the world, and you are keeping it within affordable
costs. When you swear in on your inauguration, my excel social studies class will be
watching you in your glory. I wish you all the luck in the world, and I hope and
believe that you will be the most successful president in history. Thank you for
your time, and have a safe and happy holidays.

some time? Tam very athletic and enjoy playing all sports. Can you throw out the
first pitch to a Phillies game some time? They just won the World Series, and they
‘are my favorite team ever. It would mean the world to me if you could throw out
the first pitch. Thank youAnn A. Mullen Middle School

Dear President-Elect Obama:
was very happy to hear that you won the election. I think itis really cool that
‘you are the first African American president. In this letter I would like to address you on
some of your ideas and suggest some of mine.
First, the Economy, we are going through a recession and it could turn into a
depression. What are some of your ideas to get it back on track? If big companies keep
coming in for bail-outs we are sure to hit a depression.
Second, Health Care, Right now everyone is kind of tight on money because of
the economy. Right now my mom is a widow and once my sister turns 18 she wont be
able to afford health care for her or herself. There should be a way for universal health
care for low income families like mine.
Third and last, the war plan, I would like to here some of your ideas on how you
plan to bring troops back. I really have no idea of your plan so please right me back with
some information.
Sincerely,
Toone Crepllile- Kim
