Undoubtedly one of the brightest business minds in the entertainment industry, Pooja Shetty was candid while talking to us about what the future holds for Walkwater Media. The media house has always dabbled with out of the box ideas and helped build them on a commercial platform while supporting upcoming acting and directorial talents. And Pooja intends to stick to that trend. Its great to see talented actors like Ali Zaffar make a name for themselves in Bollywood. Sometime its just not worth it unless youre willing to take a risk with something you believe in says Pooja. Alis Bollywood career took off after he starred in Tere Bin Laden, a film produced by Walkwater. The media house has also had success with Renuka Shahanes critically acclaimed Rita, which was a Marathi film. Pooja however isnt intent on jumping onto the regional cinema bandwagon. Its all about he script and not about what others are doing, she adds. And what about future projects we asked. Tere Bin Laden 3 is in the pipeline and were also working on the film adaptation of Zoya Factor. We dont want to hurry into things. We trying to concentrate on developing our films rather than working on co-producing projects, says the Walkwater Media production head.
