19 October 2012 14 April 2013 Explore the early 19th century history of human dissection and the trade in dead bodies through dramatic evidence unearthed during Museum of London excavations at the Royal London Hospital. Bringing together human and animal remains, anatomical models and drawings, historical documents and original artefacts, the exhibition will reveal the shadowy practices prompted by a growing demand for corpses, and the intimate relationship between the surgeon-anatomists and the resurrection men who supplied them.
Due to its subject matter this exhibition is not recommended for children under 12. Online booking fee and timed entry apply.
