3rd-7th Grade Basketball Leagues

Our Y shares a commitment with our community of nurturing the potential of our youth, providing fun healthy activities to enhance their sense of well-being, and role-modeling positive behavior. Join us today and as we share the fun of competition with your child in a healthy and constructive environment. Ages Leagues are gender split and will be divided into the following grade level divisions: 3rd-4th grades, 5th-6th grades, and 7th grade Boys/Girls When/Where Saturdays: November 10- January 19*(8 games) *No games will be held Nov. 24, Dec. 22, or Dec. 29 All 3rd-6th grade games and practices are held at Waukee Schools. 7th grade games are held at Waukee and/or West Des Moines Schools. There will be 1 weeknight practices beginning the week of October 29. The time/day/location of practice will be determined by the coach. Registration Information Registration will begin September 1st and may be done online, at the Welcome Center, or by calling 9879996. The registration deadline for the Leagues is October 21st. Rates $65 Member/$130 Non-Member $15/All Sports Jersey (Required to participate) Additional Info: Our Y basketball program teaches kids more than ball skills. It instills a sense of pride and teaches teamwork and positive social skills. All games will be officiated by IHSAA certified referees.
