Attention: friends, community, co-workers, and business partners, On Friday September 28, 2012, the Work-Based Training Program a program that assists Harford County residents with ascertaining employment will be hosting an Employment Information Expo. The Expo will be held at The WAGE Connection 975 Beards Hill Road - Aberdeen, Maryland -9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We plan to give away work clothing. Wardrobe Plus, Inc. has agreed to provide work clothes free-ofcharge. However, there is still a need for additional clothing and we are soliciting family, friends and other supporters to support our efforts by donating clean and gently used professional attire/work clothes-(men and women) such as, but not limited to: suites, dresses, dress pants, skirts, blouses, men shirts, dress shoes, jewelry, ties, scarfs, un-opened men and women's cologne and/or lotion. These items will be available to our job seekers FREE-of-CHARGE. Also, we are requesting that all donations be clean and that all dresses, dress shirts, and suits, come already on hangers. Also, please be sure all shoe donations are clean and in ready-to-use condition. All donations that are not used will be donated to the Harvest of Love, a local mission that is located in the Aberdeen area that has already established a support system with our job seekers. And as mentioned earlier, we have established a relationship with Wardrobe Plus, Inc. a new organization located in the Edgewood area, who assist Harford County residents with FREE work clothes. All donations can be dropped off at the WAGE Connections Monday-Friday, between the hours of 12:00 noon - 4:00pm. Please note, that for organizational purposes a deadline has been established.
