The impact of TV on our society

The group of Installation and Maintenance of Computer Systems made a visit on the
11th of December of 2008 to RTP Coimbra.
This is a television station dedicated to the region.
The group decided to travel by train.

In the TV station, they were welcomed by the director Sansão Coelho, who informed
them about the functioning of RTP Coimbra and answered the questions asked by the
group.
In general, they had a positive impression of the visit, which allowed the group to know
the physical space of the television and the way it works.

The aim was to understand how the mass media affect our society. Without a doubt,
TV is the means of communication with the greatest power in terms of information.
Thus, it would be logical to think that the influence that it has on today's society is very
high.
