There are five statutory Commodity Boards under the Department of Commerce.

Coffee Board
Coffee Board of India is an organization managed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to promote coffee production in India Board was set up by an act of parliament in 1942 Board focuses on research, development, extension, quality upgradation, market information, and the domestic and external promotion of Coffees of India. Board also encourages the consumption of coffee in India and abroad. The Board has a Market Intelligence & Statistical Unit which helps in implementing Price Stabilization Fund Scheme of Govt. of India and Rainfall Insurance Scheme for Coffee growers.

Tea Board
Tea Board of India is an state agency of the Government of India It was established by the Tea Act in 1953 It promotes the cultivation, processing, and domestic trade as well as export of tea from India. Offices are located in Kolkata, London, Moscow and Dubai. It also collects and maintains statistical data and publication

Wheat Board
Canadian Wheat Board is the most famous wheat board around the world. Other eg. - Australian Wheat Board Board Act as a mandatory producer marketing system for wheat and barley in their respective jurisdictions. The collective bargaining power of the wheat board gives farmers a better price.
