Office Data
Before configuring service data, you need to set the local office
information, that is to set the properties of the local MSC Server, including: office type; signaling point (SP) code of the local office; signaling network to which the office belongs; whether the office is a signaling transfer point (STP);

Network identifier:

The length of SPC in international network and national reserved network is 14 bits.

located. HON is used by the MSC-A to set up a connection to the MSC-B. So, MSRN/HON is a temporary number.
The format of MSRN/HON adopts E.164 coding mode, and the coding
format is: CC+NDC+ individual number. Usually, the format of MSRN/HON is based on MSC number and another several digits are added.

Parameter Relationship
The commands for configuring office data and their parameter
Page 16
Command: SET OFI/ADD OFI MSOFTX3000 support 16 local office information tables( numbered 015). The local office data index added for the first time is "0". SET OFI is used for the first time to add local office data. Currently, MSOFTX3000 supports multi-SP configuration at the local office, so we could use the command ADD OFI to add SPs to break the number limitation of 16 signaling links.
Page 17
Command: SET INOFFMSC/ADD INOFFMSC One MSOFTX3000 can be configured with 16 MSCs in maximum, and each MSC has its own local office
information.
Use the command SET INOFFMSC to configure the first MSC and ADD INOFFMSC to configure the other MSCs.
Page 18
Command: ADD VLRCFG Maximum number of users is used to set the maximum user number allowed by each VLR module. MSRN release timeout refers to the roaming number auto-release time. Roaming number can be allocated according to MSC number, LAI number, or randomly.
Page 19
Command: ADD MAPACCFG ODB_SS is operator determined barring supplementary services. Prepaging means that VLR starts paging immediately after receiving the message PRN, and then it returns PRN_ACK to HLR after receiving PAGING RESPONSE.
Page 20
Command: ADD SCCPSSN SCCP manages the users of OMAP, MAP, HLR, VLR and such users through TCAP, all these users are called SCCP subsystem. Adding SCCPSSN increases the users of MTP messages, enlarges the addressing area. When MSOFTX3000 functions as a visited MSC, configure the local MSC, VLR and SCMG subsystem. When MSOFTX3000 functions as a gateway mobile switching
Page 21
Command: ADD SCCPGT GT is short for global title, and is used globally. It implements the circuit independent message transmission between random SP. Adding SCCPGT is used to address globally through GT information. Set [Translation type] as default value 00 for the mobile network and set [GT indicator] as GT4. For the local user of SCCP, set [Translation result type] as SPC.

Questions
Which commands does local office configuration include? How many SS7 signaling links can MSOFTX3000 support
configuration of VMSC?

Command: ADD MHLAICFG Optional command, only used when allocating MSRN/HON based on LAI number. Before configuration, use command ADD LAIGCI/ADD LAISAI to add location area. By using index of MSRN/HON prefix and LAI number to establish the relationship between MSRN and LAI.
