Associated Student Government University of Arkansas ASG Bill No. 6 Author: Senator Lauren Rogers Sponsor: Senator Lauren Rogers B.I.N.S. (Building and Investing in New Sustainability) Act of 2012 Whereas, Many ASG-sponsored events request drinks and said events provide few options for not having bottled water or soft drinks; and Recycling bins are not always available at the event or near the location where drinks are being served; and Obtaining recycling bins now would allow them to be used in the future by RSOs and ASG for events that take place in locations without bins; and The Athletics Department has proposed donating up to 15 cardboard recycling bins capable of being broken down for easy storage within ASG facilities; then The Associated Student Government with the help of Fresh H.O.G.S. shall rent out cardboard recycling bins to RSOs to increase recycling for events; and The RSO shall be responsible for returning the recycling bins to ASG and going to http://fama.uark.edu/183.php to fill out a Facilities Management pick-up request for recycling.
