K-2nd Grade Basketball Leagues

Did you know basketball originated in the YMCA? We continue to bring healthy, energetic, and fun activities to the youth in our communities each day. Let our positive and encouraging staff and volunteers help your child learn how teamwork, healthy competition and fitness can be fun!

Ages
Kindergarten League This league is Co-Ed and combined age levels (5-6 yrs old) 1st-2nd Grade Leagues Leagues are gender split and will be divided into the following grade level divisions: 1st Grade Boys, 1st Grade Girls, 2nd Grade Boys, 2nd Grade Girls

Where/When
Kindergarten games will be held on Sundays, February 10-March 10(5 games), at Waukee Elementary School. You can choose between 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, OR 4:00pm. 1st-2nd grade games are held on Saturdays, February 9-March 9(5 games), at Brookview Elementary School. There will be 1 weekly evening practice held at Waukee Schools beginning the week of Jan. 28th. The time/day/location of practice will be determined by the coach.

Registration Information
Registration will begin December 1st and may be done online, at the Welcome Center, or by calling 987-9996. The registration deadline for the 1st-2nd Grade Leagues is January 20th.

Rates
Kindergarten: $40 members/$80 non-members 1st & 2nd Grade: $50 members/$100 non-members $15/All Sports Jersey (Required to participate)
