Arts of the Diaspora, was an initial programming proposal designed for the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center. We eventually renamed "Arts of the Diaspora", to "Arts of Our Community" which ran as a highly successful after-school and summer program during 2011. This initial overview and proposal, authored, designed and compiled by Evangeline Hernandez-El Fayed, is a reflection of the diligence, quality, and creativity that goes in to United Nile's program development.
