My first source was why Glee is important to our culture by Scott Bakken it was really informative and helpful

because it listed the five main points that Glee is about and how it impacted society. The author also had a very discussion point of view instead of a teaching point of view. He also points out how Glee is anti-bullying which is a main point in my presentation. My next source was by Pamela Dolan and talked about how Glee is a cultural phenomenon and is all about people of different social classes and social standings come together despite their differences and become friends to form the Glee club. My third source was by Allison Flicker and about how the kids in Glee club dont care about the other Glee club kids race, religion, gender, or sexuality they only care about their personality and how hard it is for kids to break the social standings and how much peer pressure there is in high school. My fourth source was by Bryony Gordon and talked about how diverse the groups are that watch Glee. Also how the producer of Glee regularly gets phone calls from viewers who tell him that the show makes them happy. Also it talks about how the reception the Glee cast got on their world tour was comparable to the reception the Beatles got whenever they toured, showing how much the Glee cast is loved. My final bibliography was by Michael Jensen and it talked about how Glee was created by a gay man who hired gay people to play straight and gay roles. Also how Glee has proved that television shows do not have to be spin offs of Law and Order or CSI to be popular also how shows dont have to have an unbelievably gorgeous for the show to be popular.
