8th GRADE ASSESSMENT OVER SHORT STORY UNIT

Your “test” over the short stories we have done these last
few weeks will be to compose a summary sentence that
includes the elements of fiction. Choose at least 4 or more
elements from four or more stories of the short stories to
create a summary sentence that interweaves what you
most remember or liked in the stories. This will be worth
40 points – 10 points for each of the elements used. This
will be a full section of the rubric for your grade this
quarter.
