Bone Marrow The bone marrow is the site of red blood cells, white blood cell and platelet production. B-Cells and T-Cells are produced in the bone marrow and then circulate to other lymphoid organs to be stimulated by antigens.
Periosteum is a membrane that lines the outer surface of all bones Cartilage is a flexible connective tissue found in many areas in the bodies of humans and other animals, including the joints between bones, the rib cage, the ear, the nose, the elbow, the knee, the ankle, the bronchial tubes and the intervertebral discs. It is not as hard and rigid as bone but is stiffer and less flexible than muscle. The blood vessels are the part of the circulatory system that transports blood throughout the body.

>The lower leg is comprised of two bones, the tibia and the smaller fibula. The thigh bone, or femur, is the large upper leg bone that connects the lower leg bones (knee joint) to the pelvic bone (hip joint).
