ALKALI BOIL OUT UNIT-V

1. Add 1000 ppm of TSP and 500 ppm of DSP in Boiler drum through manhole. 2. Close the manhole. 3. Isolate all the sampling lines except the boiler drum sampling line & level guage/hydra step. 4. Maintain boiler drum level to normal preferably -100 mm. 5. Light up the boiler & raise Pressure to 40 Kg/cm2, maintain normal drum level to avoid any carry over. 6. After 40 kg /cm2 pr. Is achieved , operate all the four LP drains one by one for 30 seconds each . During LP drain operation fire should be killed. 7. After completion of blowing operation , the above process of raising the pressure , holding the pressure & blow down are repeated for 6 times. 8. Samples to be checked for Phosphate content every 2 hrs. 9. After 24 hrs.boiler is to be allowed to cool down & at 2 Kg/cm2 the entire system is to be drained hot. 10. Flush the boiler with DM water till the phosphate content is < 1 ppm.
